Hey there my darlin, I wanted to invite you to meditate with me in a session focused on introspection, which means turning inward. It's about recognizing that we experience life from within, being present, breathing mindfully, and being aware of our thoughts and emotions even in stillness. This practice involves focusing on yourself, your thoughts, and your spiritual center. It can be challenging for some, including myself, to turn inward because we often avoid confronting our emotions.

Hi there,

My darling.

I wanted to invite you to meditate with me in a session focused on introspection,

Which means turning inward.

It's about recognizing that we experience life from within,

Being present,

Breathing mindfully,

And being aware of our thoughts and emotions,

Even in stillness.

The practice involves focusing on yourself,

Your thoughts,

And your spiritual center.

It can be challenging for some,

Including myself,

To turn inward because we often avoid confronting our emotions.

Let's take a moment to stop and relax together.

Can either sit or lie down,

And close your eyes to block out any distractions or gently soften your gaze.

Start by taking a deep breath in and exhaling out,

Allowing your mind and body to connect through your breath.

Lift breaths in and out by letting your breath flow naturally and filling yourself with strength.

Allow yourself to go inward and release the fear of confronting emotions directly.

What's that phrase again?

Take time to smell the roses?

For me,

This means slowing down and admiring the beauty that exists within us and all around us.

My darling,

You possess such beauty within you.

There is no need to fear looking within,

For the stories you tell yourself are incorrect.

The stories you've been telling are fictional and completely fabricated.

They limit your beliefs and need to be re-evaluated.

It's time to close the book,

Tear out the pages,

And start fresh.

Now you need to look within yourself and confront your fear of connecting within.

So I urge you to visualize.

Visualize yourself standing in front of a bookshelf.

This bookshelf is filled with fictional stories.

Each cover is unique in color and size.

Take a moment to examine them all,

And then choose the one that frightens you the most.

While you are preparing to make a decision,

Take a moment to tune in to your body.

You may sense feelings of being frozen,

Or discomfort,

Physical pain,

Or mental barriers.

I also love the phrase,

Never judge a book by its cover,

As it reminds us that the significance of not making assumptions based on outward appearances only.

So right now,

I want you to take a deep breath in,

As I am going to ask you questions that will prompt you to look within yourself for answers.

Take a moment to search within yourself,

As I am here to support you.

Stay focused on your breathing,

As it will help rejuvenate your soul and release any negative emotions while you reflect.

What can you spot on this feared book cover?

What is hiding inside that you have to extract?

Inhale deeply and exhale while experiencing the weight of the emotions,

And recognize the feelings arising from the questions you have just asked yourself.

Pay attention to the wisdom of your body as it reveals the underlining cause and solutions you are looking for.

Now if you can,

Imagine holding the book and envisioning a white light beaming from it.

This light symbolizes love and is transforming the cover,

Erasing any fictional ghost stories you may have created.

Unlock the book and welcome the light into your being.

Embrace the light and grow.

This growth comes from within it.

As you inhale and exhale,

Allow the empty pages to refresh you and release any restricted beliefs.

As you have the power to redefine your story,

Revise the pages,

Or even just alter the cover,

Recognize the healing and liberation you have achieved within yourself through this meditation.

You are not alone,

Remember that.

You have the ability to reach new levels of understanding and unlock your potential whenever you choose.

Caitlin Caddy writes,

The story you are telling yourself matters.

The stories we tell ourselves about ourselves become the scripts for our lives.

Who you are is an evolution,

But if you are turning into the same old Till year after year,

You are stunning your growth.

My darling,

I encourage you to take this quote and approach your day with an open mind.

Prepare to redefine your narrative starting right now.

And before you do,

Take one final deep breath and let it out.

As we get ready to reenter the room,

Start by moving your fingers and your toes and then when you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Thank you Tonya for the recent series of meditations that serve as a guide to let go of old stories that have been repeated in my past yet really limit efforts to embrace new experiences and opportunities for growth. Your candor in drawing upon your personal experiences and challenges leading you to reach out to help others is inspiring.

We may not have control over our outter world, but our inner world is up to us. Thank you.
