Hello my darling.

This meditation is intended for individuals who struggle with meditating.

For those who feel unsure about how to meditate,

Let us relax and take it easy for a moment.

I'm inviting you to find the most comfortable position.

Gently soften your gaze or close your eyes if you feel called to do so.

Turn inward.

Notice your breath.

Keep it easy.

Easy breath in and easy breath out.

You feel the need to close your eyes or leave them open.

Just relax your gaze.

At times we struggle to remain still or judge our meditative sessions.

We feel inadequate when they don't meet our expectations.

To return to the practice,

It is important to let go of any pressure or preconceived notions.

Granting ourselves the freedom to embrace the experience.

Ask yourself,

Can you embrace the experience?

Remember there is no right or wrong way.

Just stay present.

By focusing on the present moment,

You can reduce feelings of worry and in return cultivate a sense of peace and contentment.

Pay attention to your breath and the sensation of the breath as it enters and exits the body.

Easy breath in.

Easy breath out.

Easy breath in.

Easy breath out.

Go easy on yourself darling.

Allow yourself to think freely and go with the flow.

Embracing a sense of ease.

Consider how ease feels to you personally.

This feeling of ease may make it easier for you to navigate the rest of your day or return to this meditation in the future.

As you cultivate this newfound sense of ease,

Gradually wiggle your fingers and toes.

If you close your eyes,

Open your eyes and just notice the shift.

There's no struggle.

There's no feeling of inadequacy.

You just did the practice and you're able to grant yourself a little freedom of those expectations.

So go easy on yourself.

A gentle practice, this was very helpful. Meditation was once an intuitive part of my life, a daily practice. After sustaining a head injury I have struggled for months as my practice has faded to almost nothing. This selection reminded me to be gentle on myself. Many thanks.
