Distractions such as stress, anxiety, and worry can hinder our ability to attain internal peace and contentment through the day. This meditation aims to assist you in discovering a serene state of mind. Achieving inner peace doesn't necessarily depend on a peaceful or quiet environment, but rather quieting our thoughts.

Hi there my darling.

Take a moment to settle in and fluff your nest and if you feel called to do so,

Soften your gaze or close your eyes.

Just take a moment to breathe freely.

How do you find inner peace?

Peace of mind doesn't require peace and quiet,

But you can quiet the mind to find your peace.

Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Visualize your happy place.

Where is your happy place?

Is it in the stillness of someone's loving embrace?

Is it the sunshine that warms your skin?

Or is it in the treasured memory found deep in your heart?

Mandy A writes,

Everything that feels suffocating teaches us how to breathe.

So take a deep breath in.

Just sit with that quote for a moment.

If it feels okay to you,

Place your hands across your chest.

Feel the weight of your hands and imagine this weight is what you carry.

I want to remind you,

You can breathe through the heavy darling.

So continue to breathe in whatever way feels comfortable to you.

Inner peace is possible and you,

My friend,

Are so worthy of it.

Be calm in your heart.

In our deepest heart lies the paradise of peace.

Now follow your breath to serenity.

As you inhale,

Merge that weighted energy with your breath and let go of it with an audible sigh.

Peace begins with a smile.

Smile if you feel cold.

Be like a tree and let go of the leaves.

The tree,

It teaches us the beauty of letting go.

Now imagine the leaves falling to the ground as you become lighter.

Letting go of anything else that just doesn't serve you at this present moment.

Take one last breath,

Expanding yourself.

Take up space.

Know that you are worthy of it.

My message to you,

My darling,

Is love who you are.

The darling parts of yourself and those not so darling parts of yourself.

And when you're ready,

Awaken yourself by wiggling your fingers and toes and opening your eyes to the peace you created within.

Such a meaningful flow of calming thoughts to inspire peaceful state of mind. I also listened twice to your walking meditation yesterday as I walked through a forest preserve in a northwest Chicago suburb. At start - my mind was filled with challenging emotions. Your pacing of freeing thoughts helped me reset my mind to joys of bird sounds, feeling breeze and the pulse of feet on ground. At close of your meditation - I recognized what one receives from a walk in nature far exceeds what I was seeking or thinking of at the start. Many thanks Tonya🙏!
