We're just going to start breathing together.
Wherever you are,
Exhale all the air out through the nose.
And slowly inhale for a count of 4,
3,
2,
1.
And hold at the top for 1,
2.
Release for 5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
One more time.
Inhale for 3,
2,
1.
Hold 2.
And exhale for 5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Continue breathing in through the nose slowly.
And make your exhales longer than the inhales.
Exhaling.
And watch your body float as you breathe in and out.
Allowing your ribcage to expand as you inhale.
And contract as you exhale.
Relaxing any other muscles that feel tense in your body in the moment.
Take a quick scan across the top of the head all the way through.
Feet across your whole body.
Notice if there's any tightness anywhere,
Any tension.
Maybe your throat.
Maybe your belly.
Maybe the shoulders,
Your eyes.
Wherever it is,
Slowly place your intention.
Attention there.
And bring intention to release.
Allowing it to be here.
Allowing any energy to be here.
We don't want to get rid of it.
We're just asking if it feels safe to release and let go.
Having that moment of noticing the awareness,
That moment of permission.
Asking for permission to let go.
As we keep breathing,
Bring the awareness to the body.
Keep bringing your awareness to your breath.
Now I want you to start thinking about water.
What pops into your mind when you hear water?
When you hear the word water?
Do any sounds come to mind?
Do any images?
What's the temperature that you feel with hearing the word water?
When you tune into water,
What does it feel like to you?
Water is known for going with the flow,
Intuition,
And movement,
Feminine energy.
It flows powerful yet soft at the same time.
Without a container,
It just keeps going.
What comes up for you when you hear about water?
When you think of water?
Notice the qualities that I mentioned.
How does it resonate within your body,
Within your mind?
Without any judgment,
Just noticing.
Think about one thing that you celebrate about water,
About the quality of water.
Maybe not so much literally water,
Although water gives us life.
Some of the qualities of water.
Going with the flow,
Intuition.
Water can even hold memories,
Stores information on an embodied level.
We're made up of mainly water.
We think about it.
How do you already use the quality of water in your life?
How do you embody the qualities of water in your day-to-day?
Notice if there's any little inkling or voice within,
Maybe a knowing that you'd like to use more water in your life.
You'd like to be more like water in your life.
Notice if that comes up.
And if it does,
What does that look like for you?
Picture that in your mind's eye.
What would you be like if you were to incorporate more water-like energy into your day-to-day,
Into yourself?
What are the benefits?
What would be the benefits of that?
Beautiful.
Now we're going to move on to earth.
Notice the transition from water to earth.
What comes up for you when you hear earth?
Any images?
Sounds?
Sensations?
Earth?
Some of the qualities of earth being grounded,
Practical.
Of this 3D space and world that we're in,
Really practical in how you move,
How you are.
Maybe doing,
Getting your hands dirty,
Getting in there and doing,
Creating from a practical place.
What else comes up for you with the element of earth?
How do you feel when you embody earth?
How does it feel in your body?
What do you feel now?
Where do you feel it in your body?
Do any colors come to mind?
Any places in your body where you feel earth,
This element?
Think stock of how earth shows up,
The qualities of earth show up in your life,
In your being.
How do you already use the qualities of earth in your day-to-day?
Is there any part of you that feels like it could use more earth energy?
Even less earth energy.
Take stock of what comes up,
Whether you need,
You would benefit from earth energy.
Or maybe it's just enough.
And if you would benefit from it,
Start picturing how would you benefit from incorporating earth energy.
Into your life,
Into your day-to-day.
And what would that feel like?
What would that look like to you?
Beautiful work.
We'll move on to air.
Notice the transition from earth to air.
What comes up for you when you think of air?
How did the shift happen in your body?
In this transition from earth to air.
What images come to mind?
What qualities come to mind?
Any sensations in the body?
Where does it show up for you in your body?
Perhaps maybe it's different in a different location.
The element of air is quick.
Air is quick.
Lots of ideas.
Thoughts.
Mind.
Chatter.
Communication.
Quick thinking.
Wittiness,
Perhaps.
What does it feel like in your body?
These qualities.
Notice if there's anything you reject or accept more within these elements.
It's a big clue of perhaps some imbalance that you might experience with use of all the elements.
Resistance aside,
How does it show up if there is resistance?
We're noticing.
We're observing.
How do you already use the quality of air in your life?
Maybe in your job.
At home.
Alone.
How are you already using air?
Is there something that comes up within you realizing that perhaps you need to use more air or maybe less?
Which one shows up?
How would that look like in your life to show up with more?
Or to show up with less?
Whatever you need.
Whatever came up for you.
Now we'll move on to the last element of fire.
What comes up to you within you when you think of the element of fire?
Some of the qualities of fire is initiation.
Go-getter energy.
Excitement.
Passion.
Boldness.
Courage.
Where does that come up within you?
Does it show up anywhere in your body?
Notice sensations without any judgments.
Just noticing.
How are you already using these qualities of fire in your life?
Where have you used them in your life?
Think about the moments you've held this element of fire within.
What were you doing?
Who were you with?
What was the cause?
What was the reason?
Without any judgment.
About what you believe fire means to you.
No revere.
No revering or judgment.
Are there any possibilities that you need to use more fire in your life?
Or less fire?
What are those scenarios?
What would that look like in your life?
What would that look like for you?
Keep noticing if anything shows up in your body as you reflect.
And breathe into that space as you sense and reflect.
Beautiful work.
That concludes all the elements.
So we did water.
Notice water for a moment in your body.
Breathe into water.
Then we transitioned into earth.
Feel earth in your body.
Then we moved to air.
Notice air in your body.
Finally,
We went to fire.
Feel fire in your body.
There are any elements that stood out to you a little bit more than others.
I would recommend you meditating to them a little bit more.
Perhaps throughout the week.
Throughout the day.
Whether you need to add more of that element or less.
Whichever came up most to you for you.
Whichever felt more alive and relevant.
See if you can incorporate more or less,
Whichever you need.
Of that element in your day to day.
Choose one thing that you can do.
To adjust and balance yourself a little more.
You can come back to this.
To reflect again.
To feel again.
So that you can action again.
Keep tweaking what feels right for you to you.
Thank you so much for joining me in this meditation.
I'd love to hear what your thoughts were.
Please feel free to connect with me.
And reach out if you'd like to share.
Thank you so much.
Take care.
