This meditation is to recenter and facilitate recovery after a workout. It allows you to cool down whilst keeping the energy flowing for the rest of your day. It's important to allow the body and breathing to settle. This post-workout meditation is there to help you find calm and satisfaction after the effort.

Hi Resilient Sunshine,

Thanks for joining me today.

We are going to proceed with a post-workout meditation,

Just something to cool down after a great workout but still keep the energy flowing and growing within ourselves.

So please get into a comfortable position so we can begin.

Please feel free to lay down if that's what feels most comfortable to you right now.

And take a moment just to actually catch your breath.

Be here in this present moment.

We want to take some time to feel the energy juices going all around our body and appreciate this moment.

We just get to pause.

If you haven't already you can close your eyes and just allow yourself to take a couple of deep breaths in and exhale out at your own rhythm.

We don't want to get here into any specific breath work,

Just want to have you settle after some activity and just get you to re-center your energy.

Right where you are.

Maybe take another deep breath in and exhale.

And if you hadn't already set an intention for your day you can use this time to let your mind focus on one intention.

Whether you worked out in the morning and taking this time at the beginning of your day or at lunch or in the evening.

What's the intention for the next hours to come?

Is there something you're excited to do?

Someone you're excited to see?

Or maybe today is a you day and you get to spend the day with yourself.

Really looking after yourself and making taking care of yourself a priority.

After showing up already,

Getting some movement in your body and getting your body to reset after this.

You have already showed up in so many ways.

It can take some time to thank you.

Actually if it feels giving,

Feel free to bring your hands over your heart and just hold yourself there for a moment.

Thank you.

Thank yourself.

Thank yourself for being here.

Thank yourself for showing up for yourself.

Actually committing to doing something for yourself and going through with it.

Thank yourself for finding some peace in the chaos today.

Taking the time to regroup.

Thank you.

Thank yourself.

It is with a lot of gratitude that we get to move our bodies today.

It is with a lot of gratitude that we get to breathe and live a new day.

That we get to embrace movement.

That we allow our bodies to express themselves.

And we allow our mind to pause and be there with us.

It is with a lot of grace and kindness that we actually get to do this.

It takes a lot of courage to show up for ourselves.

It takes a lot of courage to love ourselves.

Take the time to be grateful for this body.

To be grateful for your knees.

To be grateful for your ankles.

To be grateful for your chest.

To be grateful for your arms,

Your legs,

Your back,

Your neck.

To be grateful for your lungs.

To be grateful for your heart.

Take the time to show gratitude.

Gratitude to yourself.

Gratitude to every single part of your body that allows you to be here today.

That allows you to move today.

That allows you to be present today.

Feel the gratitude all over your body.

And every part of your body sending you this gratitude back.

Holding you there.

Holding you in this present moment where nothing else matters.

Right now,

You don't have to think of where you're going to be.

Right now,

This is just this little break.

Just after your workout,

We get to feel your body energized and ready for the rest of the day.

This energy mixed with some relief.

The relief of the muscles finally coming to a pause.

Starting to recover already.

And ready to embrace the rest of the day.

If it feels right,

You can take a moment to stay in your position.

Whether you're sitting or laying down.

Hands up.

And welcoming what the rest of this day has to offer to us.

Being grateful that we're getting to living it.

Being grateful that we're getting to be here.

Being grateful to share this moment.

It's with a lot of gratitude that I get to share this moment with you today.

I'm grateful for you.
