Hello,
Namaste and welcome.
This is Mind Your Mindful with Brianna.
Today we'll be going on a short journey into a grounding rooted awareness,
A little meditation to help you find your roots in the day.
Let's begin by settling in and finding a comfortable seat,
A seated shape that feels optimal for you and your body.
Could you close down through the eyes or keep your gaze very soft,
Drawing the awareness to the breath.
As you begin to notice the shape of breath within the body,
Could you connect into the physical presence of your being as you are in the here and now.
Guide the awareness of the breath and begin to notice the earth's magnetism beneath the body.
This could be in the sits bones or in the feet.
Could you begin to sense the pull in the space of gravity?
Could you welcome the sensation of being held,
Being wrapped in the embrace of the earth?
Could you imagine your roots extending from the touch points of the body,
Deepening into the earth and with each breath the roots expanding outward,
Connecting you to the grounding qualities of the earth,
The soil,
The mycelium,
The layers of sediment,
To the secrets and the stories told beneath this atmosphere of air.
With each guiding breath,
Could you welcome stability,
The strength,
The nurturing qualities as your roots continue to grow deeper,
The soil a blanket as your roots expand outward,
Anchoring you into this support,
Inhaling as the roots expand,
Exhaling to deepen the space of expanse from within you,
Imagining in this space being so deeply held and connected that the waves of adversity wash around you,
Heavy winds and storms may carry on above you and around you,
But your roots remain strong and steadfast.
As the breath guides the awareness throughout the body,
Could you begin to sense the space just below the navel,
Just noticing the space being held from the anchored roots of the earth,
Planted firmly,
Could you begin to welcome the sensation of your emotions,
Sensing whatever is coming up for you in this moment,
Whatever feeling tones are present,
Just begin to notice them,
Notice them existing,
Noticing the sensations happening within the body,
And anchoring into the root space,
Sensing the feeling tones,
And welcoming space for you to land here just as you are,
Without judgment,
Without expectations,
Welcome yourself just as you are,
Welcoming the sensation of emotions as the breath gently sweeps awareness throughout the whole body,
And with each breath,
Could you welcome the lunar energy from the moon to guide you into this embrace,
The releasing of any turbulence,
The releasing of the granular thoughts,
Actions,
Or practices not serving purpose on your path,
Coming back to the sturdiness of the roots whenever you need to,
Inhaling,
Welcoming emotional connection,
This connection to your own being,
Exhaling,
Releasing what no longer deserves space,
Continuing this cycle of breath three times,
Inhaling,
Welcoming the emotional connection to the self,
Exhaling,
Releasing the things that no longer deserve space,
As the last exhale touches the lips,
Could you welcome in the sense of stability,
This ability to remain rooted in yourself,
To come back to the rootedness and connection with the earth and nature,
Welcoming the sacred prana to flow from you to the earth and back again,
Allow the embrace of the earth to guide you,
To carry you,
And to hold you,
Letting this magnetic field root you into a place of stability and strength,
Could you begin to notice the physical sensation of the breath,
Its coolness as it draws inward,
And the warmth as it leaves your lips,
Let the breath be your guide as you welcome movement into the fingers and toes,
Allowing the roots to gently release,
Keeping the eyes closed or the gaze soft,
Welcome some movement into the neck and shoulders,
Inhaling,
Drawing the shoulders up to the ears,
And exhaling,
Rolling them down and outward,
Could you open up your arms to each side like a bird spreading its wings,
And as you draw your arms in,
Could you wrap yourself in an embrace,
An embrace of gratitude,
Giving yourself a moment for thankfulness,
To create this space for yourself today,
To welcome in feeling tones,
And to embrace whatever may have been present for you,
Fluttering open the eyes in your own time,
And allowing your gaze to remain soft as we close at the meditation practice,
Drawing your hands to heart center and anjali mudra,
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti,
Peace,
Peace,
Peace,
May you carry this rootedness into your day ahead,
And know that you can tap into this reservoir,
This connection with the earth whenever you need to,
I welcome you to subscribe to Mind Your Mindful,
And tune in to some of the other 10 minute or less meditations,
