Before you lie down,
Open the windows if there's a nice breeze.
Turn down the heat or turn up the fan if it's hot outside.
Grab your favorite blanket,
Pillow,
And turn off all.
Now begin to make yourself comfortable,
Adjusting yourself until you feel settled in.
If you have to move to get yourself comfortable throughout this talk down,
That's perfectly fine.
As you settle in,
Let your hands gently rest where they may fall.
In the dark,
You may start feeling more focused and relaxed.
Feel the calmness relaxing and centering your mind.
As you allow your eyes to adjust to the darkness,
You may start to notice that the objects in the room are more visible.
Now gently allowing your eyelids to close.
Perhaps you notice an immediate sensation of relief and relaxation that washes over you.
The weight of your eyelids are lifted,
Allowing a gentle release and peacefulness to wash over your entire body.
With each in-breath,
You feel just a bit lighter.
And with each out-breath,
Feel the tension in your body melting away bit by bit.
Each breath bringing a wave of warmth and a feeling of acceptance over you.
By cultivating self-love,
You create a nurturing and supportive environment in which you can grow and flourish.
It's through self-love that you can find courage to face adversity,
The resilience to overcome obstacles,
