The evening arrives,

And with it comes an invitation to surrender,

To dissolve into the embrace of night,

Where nothing is asked of you but to rest.

All the paths you long to walk,

All the dreams not yet realized,

Lay them down beside you for now.

This moment is only for stillness,

For simply being.

Notice the gentle rhythm of your breath.

Notice how calm begins to settle deep into your mind.

Rest in the vast quiet,

Where the night holds you,

Where dreams drift and dance like star light in the night sky.

And in the morning,

As your eyes flutter open,

The voice of the mind stirs again.

You gather not only your clothes,

But also the thoughts,

The plans,

The worries you neatly set down the night before.

Sometimes without realizing,

You slip into yesterday's stories,

Carrying their weight once more.

But here,

In this sacred pause,

You are reminded,

Surrender does not mean giving up.

It means softening your grip,

Releasing control,

Trusting the current that carries you.

Life is a river,

Flowing from the stars into your very being.

The more you allow it to guide you,

The lighter you become.

The more you resist,

The heavier you feel.

So,

Breathe deeply,

And notice any tension in your body.

Your shoulders relaxed,

Your jaw unclenched.

Your chest softens.

These are the places that tend to be filled with shadow,

Whispering that you are alone or unsupported or forgotten.

Lovingly,

Remind yourself,

None of this is true.

You are deeply loved.

You are supported and you are held.

Now,

Imagine cutting the threads of tension,

Allowing yourself to drift into the current,

Into the waters around you,

Trusting and letting go.

Feel the current,

Mysterious yet nourishing,

Holding you with trust.

What you once tried so hard to resist may actually be the very thing trying to guide you,

Guide you into the life you long for.

Surrender.

Let go of the heavy stories,

The old stories,

The worn out ideas of who you should be.

Allow the waters to take you where you need to go,

Where you need to go.

Feel the current.

Trust in the direction that you're being carried.

When chaos swirls in your life,

When all feels unsettled,

Remember,

The universe is not against you.

Sometimes it's rearranging things,

It's rearranging things to bring you closer to what your heart has been yearning for.

Sit in trust.

Sit in surrender.

Breathe here with faith.

Breathe here with openness.

Breathe here with surrender.

Know that peace is not only in your dreams,

But it's woven into every waking moment of your life.

Rest now in the soft glow of surrender.

Trust in this unfolding,

And when you rise tomorrow,

Carry with you not the weight of yesterday,

But the quiet knowing that life is for you always.

Surrender and be at peace.
