Good morning,

Beautiful soul.

Welcome to this new day.

Before anything else asks your attention,

Before the noise,

The to-do lists,

Or the pace of the day begins,

This is a moment just for you.

A moment to arrive.

A moment to breathe.

A moment to set the tone for how you want to move through your day.

If it feels safe for you,

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a slow breath in through your nose and a gentle exhale through your mouth.

Again,

Breathing in calm and breathing out any tension you might be holding.

One more slow,

Easy breath in,

Allowing your shoulders to relax,

Your jaw to soften,

Your body to settle.

Now,

Bring your awareness into this moment.

There's nowhere else you need to be right now,

Nothing you need to figure out.

Just be and just breathe.

Feel the surface beneath you supporting your body and let yourself rest into that support.

As your breath finds its natural rhythm,

Invite a sense of ease with each inhale and a softness with each exhale.

If you'd like,

Place one hand on your heart or your belly and feel your breath beneath your hand.

This is a gentle reminder that you are present and you are grounded.

Now,

Quietly ask yourself,

How do I want to feel today?

Not what needs to get done,

Not what's expected of you,

Just how you want to feel as you move throughout your day.

Maybe it's calm,

Focused,

Steady,

Or simply joyful.

Whatever arises is enough.

Imagine that feeling beginning to form within you like a soft light or gentle warmth in the center of your body.

With each breath,

Allow that feeling to expand through your chest,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

And your legs.

Let it fill your whole body.

Know that this feeling is something you can return to throughout the day with a pause,

A breath,

With awareness.

Now I'll offer a few affirmations to help anchor this intention.

You can repeat them silently or simply let them wash over you.

I begin this day with presence and intention.

I allow myself to move through today with ease.

I am grounded,

Calm,

And capable.

I trust myself to respond to whatever arises.

I choose how I show up today.

I move through this day with clarity and compassion.

Take one more slow,

Nourishing breath in and a gentle breath out.

And when you're ready,

Begin to bring awareness back into the room.

Maybe sway your shoulders side to side.

Gently move your neck.

And when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Carry this intention with you as you step into your day,

Steady,

Present,

And supported.
