Guide a meditation to relax and release our TMJ,

To let go of tension in the jaw and the surrounding neck and shoulder area.

Lay down in a comfortable position and allow your head and your neck to be supported so that you can truly surrender to the support surface.

Take a deep breath in through the nose and allow my voice and all the sounds to guide you to a very deeply relaxed state.

Every single breath is also allowing your body to release and surrender all tensions,

All tightness.

With every exhalation,

You get to release even more,

Ten times more.

Taking a deep breath in through the nose,

Exhaling with your mouth open,

Ahhh.

It's as if you have lungs in your jaw,

Right behind your ears.

There's this muscle called the mass of your muscle.

It helps us to chew also.

Sometimes when we feel stressed out,

We tense up these muscles and the ones around the neck and shoulders,

The back of the head.

Imagine that all these muscles are inflating like a balloon.

Every time you inhale,

They elongate.

They become more supple.

Feeling the expansion and the elongation with every inhalation.

Yes,

Feel it.

That's right.

And the way that you breathe,

When you hold after that inhalation and pause,

You get to reset your collagen and elastin fibers,

The fascia.

The muscles,

The atheromyosin fibers,

Get to reset,

Allowing yourself to reset and release.

Elongate and expand.

Now.

Ahhh.

It's so easy for you to elongate,

To expand,

To release and reset now.

Because you're focused on it,

This is your main focus now.

And you're so well able to elongate and focus now.

Now is the time.

This is the time that you've been waiting for.

Remembering how in the past you had this habit of holding.

And now what do you wish to create?

Would you like to transform tightness to lightness?

Yes.

Are you free to invite a more malleable light and free you?

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

And are you willing to be grateful for that part of you that crunches in tightness?

To love and embrace fully.

And so before we release this aspect of you permanently,

Ask that part of you,

The tense and tight,

The holding,

The protected,

The stress,

Overly stressed,

What was the offering?

What was the gift and the blessing of having held on for so long,

So tightly?

And notice what arises.

Remember that everything's always happening for you.

Everything is a gift.

And allow yourself to feel so grateful for the past,

For it has brought you here to this moment,

To this awareness of what you wish to create now.

Giving yourself a beautiful embrace,

A hug.

And allowing yourself with every exhalation,

You can open your mouth and invite these letting go sounds,

These ah vibrations that are activating inside of you.

Surrender.

Allowing.

Allowing.

Allowing.

Allowing.

Remembering that your body loves you.

Your body is your best friend.

Your body is always on your side.

Inviting yourself now to embody peace.

I am free.

I decide today to let go of the old ways of holding.

I am free to be light in my jaw.

Allow your hands to come over to your jaw area.

It's helpful to add some massage oil.

And allow yourself to create circles of love over your jaw muscles.

Noticing how these muscles feel.

Notice if you can simply witness the sensations without any criticism or analysis.

How do my muscles feel around my jaw?

What's true for me?

Feel what's there.

Do I hold back saying what I truly want to say?

Am I playing small,

Keeping my mouth shh?

Does I raise to be quiet and not shine my light?

Or do I try to dim my light so that others won't feel uncomfortable?

Allow yourself right now to stick your tongue out like a lion.

And let yourself roar.

Let that voice be heard.

My voice matters.

My voice matters.

My voice matters.

That's right.

Regardless of the past,

Regardless of what happened,

You're here right now and you can create whatever you wish to create.

Let's all now together while you massage yourself.

Deep breath in through the nose.

Keep massaging.

And you can open your mouth really wide and feel that opening,

The openness,

The expansion,

The elongation.

Have fun with it.

That's right.

Create different sounds.

It's your time.

It's yours.

That's your voice.

How do I feel about using my voice?

Create your inflections low to high.

And back down.

And go ahead and do this for at least five breaths,

Five cycles.

Inventing,

Imagining,

Creating,

Feeling.

Being as loud as you want to be.

Be as free as you want to be.

I am free.

Maybe some emotions are coming out.

What do those sound like?

Be free.

Just like you were when you were a baby.

You were so free.

Even as a toddler,

You were so free.

Remember,

You're free.

Childlike,

State of wonder,

Curiosity.

You're an adventurer and explorer of your sounds.

That's right.

Yes.

Allow yourself to continue to hear yourself.

And now say your name out loud.

And listen to yourself.

Hear yourself say your name in different ways.

Hear your name.

How do I feel about myself?

How do I feel about saying my name?

And saying it as if it's the most beautiful gift on the planet.

Because it's your name.

Said in your own voice.

I'm so grateful for the creation.

The beautiful masterpiece that you are.

And how important it is for you to continue to express yourself in your life.

And to share yourself.

Whether it's through writing,

Whether it's through video,

Through just communicating.

Through art,

Through dance.

How do I express myself?

What ways do I enjoy expressing myself,

Who I am?

Take a deep breath in and feel into that.

Feel into what's true for you.

And so sometimes we're holding on to resentment,

Bitterness,

Anger,

Frustration.

And we keep it inside.

And sometimes we don't really say what we really want to say.

So many of us have been programmed to be quiet,

Be a good girl,

Be a good boy.

And we feel caged in.

And so ask yourself,

What am I holding back?

What do I wish to share more?

Maybe there's someone you want to call today and share how you're feeling about something that you've been holding back.

And today you get to share.

And you don't necessarily have to talk to that person because maybe they're not even alive.

You can write a letter.

You can write a letter to them and you can burn it and let it go.

You can also voice record yourself and listen to your own messages.

Whatever you have to get off your chest.

Are you willing to take deliberate action today?

And let me know you can message me.

I would love to hear what you did to liberate your voice today and release that tension.

What worked for you?

My voice matters.

What I feel matters.

My feelings matter.

Regardless of how you were raised,

Regardless of what you did yesterday or years before in the past,

The past lifetimes.

Now you get to live your life integrated with your voice,

Honoring yourself.

I decide to feel.

I decide to express myself fully.

I decide to express my creative energy fully.

I choose to speak the truth.

I choose to speak up easily.

I choose to honor my feelings and create healthy boundaries for myself with others.

I choose to write and express myself in a healthy way.

I decide to be in touch with my own feelings,

Desires,

And what I wish to create and to express it freely.

I decide to let go of judging myself,

Caring what other people think.

I am a sovereign being now.

I own my sovereignty.

I am enough.

I value myself.

I honor myself.

I matter.

I'm sorry if in the past I've quieted you down or shut you down.

True voice.

I'm sorry if I've been such a people pleaser or forgotten what I really,

Who I really am.

I'm here now.

Place your hand over your throat.

I'm here now.

I hear you.

I'm here now.

I feel you.

Breathe and expand into your throat.

Allow that expansion to expand into your neck,

Your jaw,

Your shoulders,

The crown of your head,

Your face,

And down your whole body.

Integrating your voice,

Your throat,

Your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your head with your whole body.

I am whole.

I decide to be whole now.

I am whole.

I believe I am whole.

I am complete.

I am connected.

I am integrated.

I feel all of who I am.

Allowing yourself to feel beyond your body then,

If it's all of who you are,

Feeling your energy body.

Sniff,

Sniff,

Sniff.

Expand,

Expand,

Expand and hold it.

And notice the energy all around your body from the inside out,

Radiating out like the sun.

You are so much more than just a physical body.

You're 99% energy.

And when you breathe,

Breathe,

Breathe and expand,

Expand,

Expand and hold it,

You get to feel that even more and be more of a wave than a particle.

Exhale.

Inhale,

Inhale,

Inhale,

Inhale,

Inhale.

Hold it.

Pause.

Feeling so grateful for this moment.

Feeling so open,

Connected.

Thank you to my voice.

Thank you for all the times that I restricted it,

Held back it.

For every single moment in your journey,

Expressing yourself has been perfect for you.

Gathering all the fertilizer,

Everything that it's taught you to hold back.

Sometimes we yell,

We overuse our voice or abuse it.

What has that taught me also?

What if I could start to see everything as an opportunity for me to learn and grow and expand?

I love you,

Voice.

And so you can kiss your hands and then place your hands over your TMJ.

Loving those muscles and committing to listening to this meditation again and again.

To nourish these muscles,

Especially before you go to sleep at night.

And you can create your own massage routine and even pull your ears,

Love on your ears and the surrounding areas.

When we touch ourselves in a loving way,

We heal and we relax those muscles more than anybody else could ever do to you.

You are your greatest healer.

Thank you so much for making the time to focus inwards and on yourself.

When you do this,

You heal the whole world.

You elevate the collective consciousness of love.

For we are love.

We are love.

It's not something we get from the outside.

Thank you for amping up your love hormone.

Deep breaths in.

You're going to say,

I'm awesome.

I'm awesome.

I am love.

I am love.

I am awesome.

I love the love.

I love you,

Jaw.

I love you,

Muscles.

I love your body.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you for this time.

Allowing yourself to come back into this room.

Stretching your body,

Lengthening your arms and legs,

Opening your jaw.

Opening your eyes,

Looking around the room,

Feeling renewed and refreshed.

Revitalize.

Ah.

And so it is.

Thank you so much. I am going to take some time to write today and share my truth, shout it out, express my feelings. I never realized how much of my tension came from unresolved and withheld thoughts and emotions. ❤️
