Lay down in a comfortable position,

Allowing your body to open up to feeling so supported by the surface that you're laying on,

Consciously leaning back now.

There is so much divine support all around us and our body is always supporting us to heal.

However,

Sometimes our thoughts are hurtful towards ourselves.

Maybe our parents taught us to be judgmental,

Critical,

Hard on ourselves.

Take a moment right now to reflect on your past childhood upbringing.

How did I learn to relate with myself?

Am I my own best friend?

Or do I tend to notice on the imperfections of myself or be critical about my body?

This guided meditation will take you on a journey from our mindset to a place of total acceptance and love and support from our own selves,

Which many times we have been challenged in how we feel about ourselves.

Are you ready,

Willing and able now to let go of the old stories,

The old ideas of you?

Anything that's not helpful for your journey to empowerment,

To feeling confident?

Anything that's getting in the way of you really truly loving yourself?

Are you willing to process and release?

Let go of any unhealthy thoughts or beliefs about yourself.

And are you willing to feel so grateful for yourself,

Confident,

Healthy?

Yes,

Yes,

Yes.

Are you willing to be spontaneous and free like a child,

Playful and light about yourself?

And are you willing to simply love and accept yourself in every moment as your standard for living?

I love and accept myself in every moment regardless of what's going on.

I decide to love and accept myself exactly as I am now.

And if you ever felt that you had any burdens placed on you,

Any responsibilities that were too difficult for you to cope with or placing on yourself responsibilities or burdens,

Are you willing to release it now?

Deep breath into your shoulders.

I release.

I decide to release all burdens,

Obligations,

Thinking that I should do that.

I need to do that.

All those obligations.

Letting them just brush off of you,

Slide off of your body.

I am light.

I decide to be light.

I decide to accept where I am and love being my own best friend.

I know how to take care of myself.

Allowing yourself to feel grateful for new motherhood,

Your new baby,

Your new responsibilities.

Sometimes we think that it's supposed to be so easy but then when we have our baby we might feel tired or overwhelmed.

Sometimes we don't have enough sleep because our baby wakes up at night and our bodies feel as if they're getting back to ourselves after birth.

Are you willing to love this part of your journey,

The transition of pregnancy to motherhood and to be patient with yourself as you continue to learn more and more and more each day how to be the mother to your baby in this way?

Are you willing to be curious,

Grateful and to see this as an adventure,

A journey into motherhood where you get to learn your baby's cues,

Cries,

Sounds and trust your intuition,

Your mother's intuition that you know exactly what's best for your baby and that you're able to read your baby's cues very,

Very effectively.

Imagine yourself feeling that you are enough,

That you are your baby's perfect mother every step of the way as you learn more and more about your baby,

That you are perfectly your baby's mommy.

You're the perfect mommy for your baby.

Feeling so grateful.

You are your baby's mommy.

I'm the perfect mommy for my baby.

I am enough.

Feeling so grateful for your body and how your body's healing after birth.

My body knows how to make enough milk for my baby.

My body's so wise.

My body knows how to create perfect amounts of milk for my baby.

Feeling yourself at peace with yourself.

Everything is perfect,

Divinely perfect.

Surrendering now,

Taking a deep breath in,

Feeling and flowing all your emotions of fatigue,

Tiredness,

Overwhelm.

If there's any judgments you've made about yourself as a mom,

A wife,

A parent,

Using your sounds to cleanse and clear,

Allowing yourself to feel so much love and acceptance for yourself exactly as you are,

Expanding your heart even more.

Feel that detox strength over time.

Right here.

Feeling so grateful to be alive.

As you grow in love with yourself.

And so it is.

Although I have been on my motherhood journey for 14mos now, I daily need to remind myself that this is new to me, that I am not failing, that there is no perfect way to mother- I know my child best, and that it’s okay to give myself grace, space and time to learn him in every new moment. This was essential to overcoming PPD.
