In a moment we shall begin.

First I would like you to get into a comfortable position and when you are ready I would like you to close your eyes.

I would like you to notice how your body feels.

Take the time to adjust your position so that you are able to focus on just my voice.

Now that you are ready we shall begin.

Take a deep breath in and slowly breathe out.

Imagine yourself at the threshold of a serene woodland,

Surrounded by a gentle warm light.

With each step you take into this woodland,

Feel the weight of any tension starting to lift from your shoulder.

With the first step,

Notice the tension in your muscles beginning to unwind.

As you progress to the second step,

Feel a sense of tranquility embracing you,

Softening the edges of any of your worries.

With the third step,

Welcome a gentle breeze of relaxation.

Soothing your mind and spirit.

Step by step,

Allow the beauty of the woodland to guide you to deeper,

Deeper relaxation.

With each descent,

Feel the layers of stress and tension melting away,

Leaving behind a profound sense of peace.

As you reach the heart of the woodland,

Feel yourself embraced by the calmness,

Knowing that you are safe and supported.

Now visualise yourself walking alone on a tranquil path in the woodland.

Feel the soft dirt beneath your feet and the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze.

As you walk,

Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature.

Notice the vibrant colours of the foliage,

The songs of the birds and the scent of the woodland air.

With each step,

Let go of any lingering worries or fears.

Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment.

Let the beauty of the woodland wash over you.

Feel a deep sense of connection to the natural world around you,

Grounding you in the present moment and easing any worries that might still remain.

As your time in the woodland starts to come to an end,

Visualise yourself at the edge of a tranquil pond,

Illuminated by the soft light of the dawn.

With each step away from the woodland,

Feel yourself returning to the present moment,

Carrying with it a sense of calmness and clarity.

As you start to ascend,

Feel the energy of the woodland infusing you with renewed strength and resilience.

With each step,

Feel yourself becoming more and more present and more and more alert,

Ready to face the remainder of the day with a sense of inner peace.

And when you are ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Bringing the peace of the woodland with you,

As you return to the world around you.

Take a moment to stretch your body,

Allowing any remaining tension to dissipate.

Reflect on the peace that you have cultivated during this meditation,

Knowing that you can return to this sense of calm whenever you need.

Take a big breath in,

And a breath out.

Thank you for joining me as we travel through the woodland.

May you carry this sense of calmness through the remainder of your day.

Take care.
