Confidence at work,

How to rebuild it and thrive.

Let's be honest,

Returning to work or stepping into a new role after a period of time away can feel like standing at the edge of a cliff,

Looking down.

Whether you're a return to work mum,

Starting over after redundancy or simply someone struggling to find your voice at work,

It's normal to feel anything but confident.

Maybe you've been out of the game for a while,

Perhaps you're comparing yourself to colleagues who seem to thrive effortlessly while you're just trying to survive.

I get it,

It can feel overwhelming.

Confidence isn't something that magically reappears the moment you put on your work shoes,

It takes effort,

Intention and most importantly,

Time.

The good news,

You don't have to figure it out all alone.

My clients have been at a similar crossroads in their lives and I'm here to tell you that rebuilding your confidence is definitely possible.

Can you hear you asking,

Why does confidence matter?

Confidence is more than speaking up in meetings or delivering presentations,

It's about feeling capable,

Knowing your value and showing up as the best version of yourself.

It's also a skill,

One that can be nurtured and strengthened just like any other.

When I coach my clients,

We dig deep into what's holding them back.

Is it self-doubt,

Fear of failure,

A relentless inner critic that never seems to shut up?

Together we work to silence that noise,

Reconnect with those strengths and discover what makes them uniquely brilliant.

If this resonates with you,

Here are five ways to start shifting your mindset.

Acknowledge where you are.

The first step is to accept your starting point.

Feeling nervous or out of practice is nothing to be ashamed of,

It's human.

Take a moment to acknowledge how you're feeling without judgment.

Remember,

You don't have to figure it all out from day one.

Reconnect with your strengths.

Think back to a time when you felt proud of your work.

What did you achieve?

What skills did you use?

Write them all down.

Whether you delivered a killer project,

Managed a tricky client or simply stayed organised under pressure,

Those strengths are still yours.

You just need to tap back into them.

Silence your anger.

Acknowledge your inner critic.

We all have that little voice in our head that whispers,

You're not good enough or what if you mess up?

Challenge it.

Ask yourself,

Is this really true?

More often than not,

It's not.

When I work with clients,

We use techniques to reprogram those negative thought patterns and replace them with empowering beliefs.

Trust me,

It's a game changer.

Set small achievable goals.

Confidence grows with action,

Not overthinking.

Start small.

Perhaps it's speaking up in a meeting,

Asking for feedback or taking on a task that pushes you just a little bit outside your comfort zone.

Each small win will build momentum and remind you of your capability.

Get support.

You don't have to do this alone.

Whether it's a coach,

Mentor or supportive colleague,

Having someone in your corner makes all the difference.

When I work with clients,

We explore their blocks,

Identifying their goals and creating a clear path forward.

You'd be amazed how powerful it is to have someone believe in you while you learn to believe in yourself.

You are not alone.

Confidence isn't a one-time fix,

It's an ongoing journey.

Whether you're navigating a return to work,

Adjusting to life after redundancy or simply trying to find your feet,

Know that these feelings are temporary.

With the right tools and support,

You can move from surviving to thriving.

Let me know how you intend to boost your confidence.
