Welcome to the Clear Your Thoughts meditation.

My name is Maria Newman,

And I appreciate you choosing to listen to this meditation.

This meditation is designed to help you release the fog that clouds your thoughts,

So that you can think more clearly.

I will take you on a guided journey to remove the clutter that distracts you from being focused and seeing things clearly.

Before we begin,

I would like you to ensure that you're in a comfortable position.

You can sit or lie down,

Whichever feels best for you.

Just take a few moments to get comfortable so that your full attention is in this moment.

Also,

Make sure you're in a quiet space,

Where you won't be disturbed during this meditation.

For this meditation,

It's normal for your mind to wander.

If you notice this happening,

Gently bring your focus back to my voice and your breath.

There's no right or wrong way to meditate.

Just be present and open to the experience.

I would like you now to gently close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

And one last time,

Inhale and exhale.

Bring awareness to your body,

Starting from the top of your head.

Gently relax your scalp,

Your forehead,

Your eyes.

Move slowly down,

Releasing tension in your cheeks,

Jaw,

Neck,

And shoulders.

Let the relaxation flow to your arms,

Your chest,

Your abdomen,

Hips,

Legs,

And finally your feet.

Feel the calm spread throughout.

Feel the surface beneath you supporting your body.

Allow yourself to sink into this support.

Feel safe and held.

Now bring your attention back to your breath as you gently breathe in and breathe out.

Take a moment to set your intention for this meditation.

Consider what you hope to gain from this time of stillness and reflection.

Allow this intention to guide your practice.

Allow yourself to fully arrive in this very moment.

Embrace open awareness,

Noticing any thoughts or sensations without judgment.

If your mind starts to wander,

Gently guide your focus back to your breath.

Simply be present and let the moment unfold naturally.

Now picture yourself at the top of a staircase with 10 steps that take you down,

Bathed in a soft,

Warm light.

As you descend each step,

Feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed,

Staying aware of your surroundings.

With each step,

Let a wave of calmness flow through you,

Bringing you deeper into relaxation.

On the first step,

Your muscles start to release tension.

That's right.

The second step brings a peaceful tranquility,

Melting away the day's worry.

Take the third step and feel a gentle breeze of relaxation.

On the fourth step,

The soothing warmth begins to dissolve your stress.

The fifth step allows you to release all remaining tensions in your body.

With each step,

Your mind opens to new possibilities.

The sixth step brings a deeper relaxation than you've ever felt before.

On the seventh step,

Feel peace and calm as you let go of the tension.

The eighth step lightens your muscles,

Washing them into relaxation.

On the ninth step,

You're deeply peaceful and calm.

And then finally,

The 10th step,

Immerse yourself in a profound tranquility.

Standing at the bottom,

Let this deep relaxation fill you completely,

Embracing a state of acceptance and serenity.

Now,

As you drift deeper into this state of calm and peace,

Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a beautiful forest.

The air is fresh and crisp,

And you feel a sense of clarity wash over you.

Take a deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Allow yourself to step forward into this forest,

Feeling a sense of lightness with every step.

Notice the gentle sounds of nature around you,

The rustling leaves,

The distant chirping of birds.

With each step,

You feel more at ease,

More connected to the earth beneath your feet.

The path is clear and inviting you,

Guiding you deeper into this sanctuary of serenity.

As you walk,

You notice a gentle breeze,

Soft and soothing,

Brushing away any lingering frog from your mind.

Feel this breeze cleanse your thoughts,

Sweeping away any clutter or confusion.

With each breath,

Your mind becomes clearer and more focused.

Ahead,

You see a small,

Tranquil clearing.

In the center,

There is a sparkling crystal clear stream.

Walk towards the stream and as you reach its edge,

Kneel down and cup your hands to take a sip of the pure,

Refreshing water.

As you drink,

Feel the cool,

Clear liquid flowing through you,

Washing away any remaining fog and bringing clarity to your mind.

Now sit by the stream feeling the calm water flowing beside you.

Allow any worries or distractions to be carried away by the gentle current.

In this moment,

You are free from clutter,

Free from fog.

Your mind is clear and your thoughts are sharp and focused.

Stay here for a while in this place of pure clarity,

Knowing that you can return to this feeling of peace and focus whenever you need.

As you gently begin to come back to the present,

Carry this sense of clarity with you,

Knowing that your mind is clear and your thoughts are your own.

Bring your attention back to your breathing.

Feel each breath as you breathe in and breathe out.

In and out.

Tune into the rhythm of your breath.

That's right.

Gently bring your attention back to the room.

Become aware of your body.

Now wiggle your fingers and then your toes.

And when you are ready,

Softly open your eyes.

Take a moment to acknowledge the peace within you,

Carrying it with you as you move throughout the day.

Take a moment to reflect on how you feel now.

Notice any shifts in your mind,

In your body.

Acknowledge the learnings and insights from this meditation.

Set a clear intention to carry the sense of peace and mindfulness with you.

Let this calmness guide your actions and interactions,

Fostering harmony and balance.
