So each day,
We will reflect every day on the grounding of the three principles,
Mind,
Thought,
And consciousness,
And I aim to bring them alive for you through story and visualization,
And we'll explore the themes of hope and peace and joy and love,
And my dearest wish is that you will see how everything already exists inside of you,
Within you,
Within your own consciousness,
And so when we want to tap back in to peace,
For instance,
We actually just have to look inwards.
So we've created this series,
The first week is the focus of hope,
And we'll be looking at how thought plays with us and how hope is an inside job,
And each of these sessions will include a short reflection time,
Pocket of peace,
And a guided visualization to help you connect with your true nature,
So there'll be less chat discussion like there would be on my normal lives where we do some coaching and some chatting,
And more getting relaxed and being peaceful.
I also have some special guests coming up,
And they will be joining me on some of the day,
So I'll announce them as we go,
And I wanted to let you know that at the end,
What I'd love to do is we'll do the reflection time and a visualization,
So I'll get you settled in,
And then when I bring you out of the visualization,
I'm just actually going to leave you with a thought,
A thought for the day if you like,
Something to percolate on overnight until we meet again,
And not really have some noisy goodbyes,
We'll see how that works out,
But that's my plan anyway,
And I'll quietly say thank you to you all and let you go,
So that you can stay in that reflective space for as long as possible.
So today's theme is about setting intentions,
And I really feel like when you set intentions,
There's a magic,
There's a magic to intentions,
And the universe sort of works with you to create those intentions,
And what I'd like you to consider is what intentions would you like to set for this season,
What intentions of thought would you love to set for this season,
What do you want to cultivate during this reflective period,
And one of the things about intentions is that it can help you,
So don't,
Don't use,
You know,
Let me just guide you here,
Don't use intentions to beat yourself up,
It's not like a goal,
And if you don't get it,
Then there's something wrong with you,
It's more to do with getting really present in each moment,
And living with intentionality,
So an intention can be as simple as I choose love,
You know,
In my day-to-day,
I choose love,
And intentions can help you clarify your,
Your goals,
Your outcomes,
Your desires,
It can also help you cultivate gratitude,
And using the power of intention to take inspired action,
To decide what you want to do,
And then actually take each step towards that.
So,
If it makes sense to you,
During our visualization time,
Let that reflect in your mind.
So,
I'm going to now settle us down,
If you're ready,
And if you'd like to do that right now,
Take a moment to get really present,
Take a moment to feel yourself on your chair,
Or your bed,
Or wherever you are resting,
And get comfortable,
You know,
Sort of wriggle a little bit,
Find a little bit,
Can you get one,
One,
One degree more comfortable,
Feel the furniture against your body,
Feel your clothes against your skin,
If it feels good to do so,
Then close your eyes,
Or lower your gaze,
See if you can expand your hearing past the room that you're in,
See if you can get a sense of the universal connection between us all,
Take a moment to notice your breath,
Without changing it,
What's your breath doing,
Is it shallow,
Is it slow and deep,
Allow it to settle a little,
And fall into a rhythm that suits you,
Consider the principle of thought,
And how it is the creative force behind our experience of life,
And how thoughts shape how we perceive everything around us,
Thought is transient,
It's a transient energetic thing that comes through our minds,
And moves through our minds,
And moves on,
And knowing that means that we don't have to stay stuck in any thought,
But we could also cultivate a habit of listening to fresh thought,
So as I lead you into a short visualization,
I'll ask you to be kind to yourself,
Take a few moments to really appreciate yourself,
For being here,
For showing up,
For allowing yourself the space,
Take a nice deep breath in,
And let it out,
Take another deep breath in,
And let it slowly out,
And take a third deep breath in,
And allow the breath to fill your body,
Fill your tummy,
Fill your lungs,
Fill every inch of you,
And then let it out,
Even if you've just arrived,
Just take a few moments to settle in,
You're in the right space at the right time,
You're never late,
You're never wrong,
Now imagine yourself in a dark space,
Quiet and still,
You're safe,
There's nothing to do,
Nowhere to go,
No expectations,
If it feels good to do so,
You could put your hand on your chest,
And visualize or imagine a tiny spark of light inside your chest,
Maybe you can see that light,
Maybe you can feel it through your hand,
Maybe you just know it's there,
We're all different,
We all hear things differently,
And see things differently,
And that's okay,
But this light is there,
Even if you can't see it,
Or you can't feel it,
Know that it's there because everybody has it,
The light is small but steady,
It represents hope,
It knows that there is the potential for new thought to arise in any moment,
The light sometimes pulsates as it sees thought going through your mind,
With each breath and your attention,
Imagine the spark growing and glowing just a little bit brighter,
If you can,
Allow yourself to feel the warmth of this hopeful light,
Spreading through your body,
Allow it to go right down to the tips of your toes,
And flow back up again to the top of your head,
Spreading through every part of your body,
If it helps you,
Imagine that it's traveling with your breath,
Or with your lifeblood,
While we're here i'll tell you a little story,
I was walking with a client and we talked about how the birds fly and the murmuration when you see swallows flying and swooping and flying,
And just after we talked about that then we saw birds flying in that murmuration,
Hundreds of them flying in flow,
Turning and changing directions,
And still flying around and making beautiful bird noises and flying and turning and swooping,
All in perfect harmony,
And we forget that we're part of that life force,
That we are in harmony every day,
We forget because we use the power of thought against ourselves sometimes,
Not deliberately,
Often innocently,
I'm here to remind you that your light is as bright as everybody else's light,
And it shines in its own unique way,
And that you have a power,
The power of thought to create your experience of life,
And that is an incredible gift,
And sometimes we misuse our gift and that's okay,
Sometimes we don't even notice we've got the gift and that's okay,
But the gift belongs to you,
And you can use it however you want.
In a few moments i'm going to invite you back to the room,
So take your time,
Wriggle your fingers,
Wriggle your toes,
Stretch a little bit,
Move your head on your shoulders,
Roll your shoulder,
Have a little shimmy,
When you're ready,
Flutter open your eyes,
Notice where you are,
Notice your surroundings,
Give yourself thanks,
And give everybody else who has spent this reflection time with you,
Some thanks and some gratitude.
Take a deep breath in,
Love,

And let a lot of love out,
Let your breathing fall into a steady rhythm that suits you,
So i'm going to leave you with this closing thought,
Hope is always within you,
Waiting to grow brighter with each new thought,
Trust that this light will guide you.
