You're very welcome to this five minutes to peace session.
I am really grateful that you're here.
So thank you.
Let's find ourselves a comfortable place to sit where we can close our eyes and minimize distractions.
So let's begin.
Close down the eyes.
Feet planted on the floor.
Just become aware.
Become aware of your feet planted on the ground.
Your seat and bones on the chair.
You're grounded.
You're earthed.
You're safe.
You're connected.
You're being held.
By the chair,
The floor.
And the energy that surrounds us.
I'll now invite you to bring an awareness to your breath.
For this practice,
We'll use nasal breathing.
So we'll breathe in through the nose.
Out through the nose.
Beautiful.
We'll use the breath as the anchor.
To keep us in this present moment.
Just like a ship uses an anchor.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Beautiful.
Each breath we breathe in.
And we breathe out.
We soften the face and soften the body.
We melt into the moment.
Peace.
Gentle.
Peaceful breaths.
And exhale.
Those peaceful,
Gentle breaths.
Softness to the breath.
Softness to the body.
Softness to our attitude.
Inhale.
Peaceful breath.
Exhale.
Peaceful breath.
Beautiful.
Beautiful.
If your mind drifts away and gets lost in thoughts.
Just come back to that peaceful inhale.
And exhale.
Observe.
Notice.
Become aware.
Of the body.
And if it tries to take you away from the practice.
Or away from this peaceful moment.
Just come back to that peaceful,
Gentle breath.
Inhale.
Peaceful breath.
Exhale.
Beautiful.
Really simple.
On the next inhale.
We're going to breathe in the word peace.
Inhale.
Peace.
You may just see the word or say the word peace.
And exhale.
Peace.
Or you may use your imagination.
And you will think of something that reminds you of peace.
Or someone.
A symbol of peace.
Whatever feels good for you.
Each breath you breathe in.
Fill up the nose.
The chest.
The belly.
With peace.
Every cell.
Every muscle.
Every organ.
Every tissue.
As full.
As illuminated.
With peace.
And as you breathe out.
Put that peace out into the room.
Into your home.
Into your community.
Into the universe.
Become one.
With the peace.
As you breathe in peace.
Breathe out peace.
Really feel all of that experience.
That goes right through your body.
From head to toe.
From toe to head.
You have become.
Peace.
You are peace.
It's your natural state.
Inhabitable.
Now gently letting go of the words.
The visualization.
The image.
But holding on to the experience.
Establish the witness.
The watcher.
And observe your experience.
Is there.
A more sense felt of peace.
Gentleness in the body.
Bringing your awareness back.
To your feet on the ground.
Your seat and bones.
On the chair or a stool.
Wherever you're sitting on.
And bring a sense of.
Presence.
Awakefulness.
The moment.
Whenever you're ready.
You can return back to the present moment.
And open your eyes.
