I'm so glad that you decided to join for this outer body experience.

Sometimes when people talk about having an outer body experience,

It's more of a shock to the system.

They describe it as a split moment where their bodies and their consciousness are separate.

They get to see themselves from a different lens,

Or maybe it's in a dream where there's no control of what's happening around them.

Well,

Today we get to intentionally experience this.

We get to be gentle with ourselves and do it at our own pace.

So let's begin by settling in whatever position you're in.

See if you can make yourself a little more comfortable.

Let's take a nice deep breath in together and allow our bodies to sink just a little bit deeper.

Take a moment to just become aware of your surroundings.

Taking in the sounds,

Taking in the temperature of this space and giving yourself an opportunity to just land here.

Maybe there's a part of your body that's speaking a little bit louder.

Just breathe into that space and allow it to relax just a little bit more.

With every exhale,

You notice your body melting just a little bit more to whatever surface you're in.

And before we dive in,

I really encourage you to imagine yourself wearing the lens of compassion and love as we journey into this outer body experience of seeing ourselves.

So whatever that means to you,

I will encourage it throughout our practice today to just have a little more compassion and a little more love for this body and this human that we're experiencing life with.

Taking one more deep breath together and begin to imagine yourself just stepping out of your body.

You're not going too far.

You're going to be right beside you.

And see first if you can visualize what this looks like.

Can you see your face?

Can you see what you're wearing today?

Are you able to see what position your body's in right now?

Let's just take in our body.

If you imagine your face at this moment,

If you imagine yourself looking,

And it's not the same as looking in the mirror because maybe your eyes are closed,

What does it feel like to look at yourself?

Do any sensations come up as you observe your face?

And if you move down your body,

Can you see if your shoulders are relaxed?

And can you notice the rising and falling of your chest and your belly as you breathe?

Scanning all the way down your legs,

What do you feel and what comes up for you as you scan all the way down to your toes?

And now that you've taken a moment to just see yourself and to feel yourself a little bit,

Let's take a closer look.

Can you see your face?

Can you see it with the lens of love?

Do you know what it's like to see your face with a little more compassion?

Maybe we take in the lines and wrinkles as expressions of our emotions in the last few years.

Maybe we take in our skin with a little more love of how we get to experience our environment.

And when we notice our bodies,

Our chest rising and falling with every breath,

Can you feel your love here?

Can you feel your love for yourself as you take in every breath?

Because you,

My dear,

Are a miracle in this life.

And every breath is a gift that you get to have.

As you scan down your body,

Is there an area that you want to give yourself a little more love?

Is there somewhere in your body that you can experience a little more compassion?

Now I know that you are nice and close and right beside this body.

Now I'm going to invite you to just take a step back and just notice what it feels like to be able to see more of your body and see what it feels like to have a little more distance.

Does it feel different?

And are you aware of any new sensations as you see yourself?

Just take a moment here and really feel.

And what would it be like if you took one step back?

Maybe now you can see your whole body.

And if you're able to,

Maybe you can see the energy that surrounds you.

Your aura is almost like an energy bubble that surrounds your body.

And sometimes we're able to see it as light or as movement.

And if you can visualize what your energy around you looks like,

What is that experience like?

Does it feel complete?

Are there any gaps or spaces?

Do you see movement or is it still?

Maybe there's something that this energy space wants to communicate to you.

And if there's a gap or a space,

Maybe there's an opportunity for you from this point to just give yourself a little more love and to offer it a little more compassion.

And I want you to take a moment here to just feel and see if there's a message from your heart to this person that you see in front of you.

And if it comes up right away,

That's wonderful.

And if it doesn't,

That's okay.

Just stay here for a moment.

You may have something to say,

Or you may want to just observe.

This is your time with yourself.

So I'm going to give you a little moment here to just feel into this space.

Maybe there was something that came up.

Maybe there was just stillness.

Just be with whatever is available to you.

I'm going to invite you to take one step closer and just notice any sensations in the body and take one step closer and get all the way right beside your body.

And we're going to take one last deep breath in together.

You can close your eyes and from your eyes closed,

You can be in your body and just feeling what it's like to be where you are.

Maybe take in a few seconds to wiggle your toes or move your shoulders slightly.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes and take in your space.

Take in this feeling of breathing.

Thank you so much for journeying with me today.

My name is Lillian and I will catch you next time.
