Welcome,

I'm so glad that you're here and that we're about to journey together on an exploration of feeling really good in our bodies.

My name is Lillian and I'm very curious to know,

How often do you notice when your body's feeling really good?

And when you notice,

Do you pause to celebrate and just acknowledge that?

You see,

I've been a body worker for over a decade.

So my clients come in and they tell me about their pain and their discomfort and they can describe it in detail,

10 minutes straight of their shoulder and how it feels.

And when they move it a certain way,

The pain that comes up and the sharpness and the dullness and they can just really go into detail.

And when their bodies begin to improve,

When they begin to mobilize and feel good and I ask them,

How are you doing?

Their reply is usually,

I'm good.

And that's it.

Not even one second on talking about feeling good in their bodies.

So I think it's really important that we pause and we acknowledge the parts of our bodies that are doing really well.

And that's what this journey is today.

So let's begin by taking one big breath together.

Just allow your body to sink a little bit deeper,

A little bit more relaxed.

And if at any point you want to take more of those juicy deep breaths,

I don't only invite you,

But I encourage it.

And as you do,

I want you to feel how good it feels in your body to just breathe and fill your lungs with all of this delicious air.

And as you slowly exhale,

You can even let out a little sigh because this exploration doesn't need to be in stillness.

In fact,

I encourage you to move.

I encourage you to make sounds,

To even touch your body because remember this is an exploration of feeling really good.

I like to think of the body as a community of cells,

Like an ecosystem that works together.

And the way that it communicates is through sensation.

Sometimes those sensations are discomfort and pain and other times it's pleasure and it feels really good.

So today is about exploring those messages and allowing the celebration of what feels good to ripple through your body and just touch the other parts that may need a little bit of help.

And maybe if our bodies feel celebrated enough,

They'll give us more good feelings.

That's the plan here.

So I want you to just notice in your body if there's one area that feels really good.

If it feels mobile,

You can see your breath going to those areas and maybe allow a little bit of movement in that space.

If you're open to it,

You can place your hand and give yourself a gentle caress in that space.

And remember this is a celebration.

So your face can have a gentle smile on it or your big goofy grin.

This is your time for yourself with your body to celebrate what feels good.

Maybe there's another part in your body that is telling you,

Hey,

I feel good too.

Bringing your attention to that space,

Allowing a little bit of movement,

Bringing your hands if they're available to that area for a little caress or a little massage.

Maybe there's even a little sound in there.

Inhaling,

Just feeling really good in our bodies.

We have space and time for a little more celebration.

So maybe you can go inside of your body and just imagine.

Is it your heart?

Is it your mind?

If it's your guts or your lungs,

What feels really good inside?

Just imagine the oxygen as you inhale,

Reaching these places inside of you.

Take a nice deep breath with me and bring it all the way.

And for this last part of our exploration,

I invite you to add a little bit of movement to any part of your body.

Maybe it's just your hands.

Maybe you can let your body sway.

But in this movement,

We're sharing with the rest of our body from these points of joy and of pleasure,

Just moving through our bodies to reach all the little spots,

All the little nooks,

To expand this good,

Yummy feeling all over.

Maybe you can do this with a little bit of sound,

With a little smile on your face.

Just take a moment.

Take a moment in this space to acknowledge your body as a wonderful temple that allows for your expression,

That allows for your movement,

And allows you to be part of this world.

Stay with yourself here.

Stay with your breath.

Stay with the feeling.

Whether you're in movement or in stillness,

Just stay with yourself.

We are so blessed.

We are so blessed to be here,

To be traveling this earth with our bodies.

I just want to thank you for celebrating with me.

And I hope that you continue to feel good in your body and do the things to take care of yourself today.

Thank you,

And I will see you on the next journey.
