Hello and welcome to this guided heart-centered meditation.

Today we will connect to the heart,

Inviting it to open and fostering gratitude and appreciation for what we have.

This practice is a powerful way to shift into a more balanced and loving state of being.

One that can profoundly transform your life and relationships.

In our fast-paced culture,

We are often encouraged to stay in our minds,

Thinking,

Planning,

And creating to keep up with the demands of life.

But true connection and presence begin in the body,

In the heart.

Taking the time to tune into your heart and embody its wisdom has never been more important.

Studies have shown that the heart emits a measurable electromagnetic field,

One that can extend up to three feet from the body.

This field reflects the power of the heart and its capacity to influence not only our lives,

But also the lives of those around us.

When we align with the heart,

With gratitude and appreciation,

We create a state of coherence that attracts more of the experiences that we truly desire.

So let's begin.

I invite you to find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Once you're all settled,

We'll take three deep breaths in together to relax the body and release any tension.

So take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely all the way up,

And then let it go and any tension with it.

And take another deep breath in,

Filling up fully,

All the way up,

And let it go and release.

And now one more breath in,

Filling all the way up to the top,

And then hold it here for five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

And exhale,

Letting your body soften and sink into this moment.

Feel the weight of your body supported by the surface beneath you.

Now,

I invite you to bring your attention to your chest,

To your heart space.

And notice what it feels like to focus here.

For some,

This may come easily.

For others,

It may take time,

And that's okay.

Simply invite an awareness to your heart,

Gently placing your attention here.

Take a moment to ask your heart if it's willing to open,

Even just a little bit.

It may respond effortlessly,

Or you may notice not much at first.

Whatever you feel,

Just welcome it.

There's no right or wrong way to experience this.

Ask your heart again,

Can you open just a little bit more?

Imagine a sense of expansion,

Of softening,

As your heart opens further.

Allow yourself to notice what this feels like.

Whether it's lightness,

Warmth,

Or something else entirely.

And even if it's only a 1% shift,

Know that this small opening over time can make a profound difference.

For those whose hearts feel closed or walled off,

Be gentle.

Accept your heart exactly as it is.

Befriend it,

And allow it to respond in its own time.

And in its own way.

There's no need to force,

Only to welcome.

Once again,

Ask your heart to open a little bit more.

Notice the sensations that come with this expansion.

Perhaps a sense of lightness,

Joy,

Or peace.

Can you feel your heart reaching outward,

Connecting to the space around you?

Now,

I invite you to bring to mind something or someone you're grateful for.

It could be a loved one,

A pet,

A memory,

Or even the warmth of the sun on your skin.

And hold this image in your mind's eye.

Recall the details,

The colors,

The sounds,

The way it made you feel.

And let this sense of gratitude fill your heart.

Imagine it radiating outward,

Creating warmth and light within you.

Return your attention to your heart,

Inviting it to open a little bit more.

Notice the sensations.

Perhaps your chest feels lighter,

Your breath flows more easily,

Or you feel a soft smile forming on your face.

And once again,

Connect to your gratitude.

Allow the emotions associated with this memory or experience to wash over you.

Joy,

Love,

Appreciation.

Let them fill your entire being.

Welcome them.

Take a moment to honor your heart for all it does for you,

Physically,

Emotionally,

And energetically.

Feel the strength and beauty of this organ that supports you.

Every day.

As we prepare to close this practice,

Remember,

You always have access to this space.

This sense of openness,

Gratitude,

And joy is within you,

Waiting to be tapped into.

With curiosity,

Authenticity,

And love,

You can return to it at any time.

You deserve to feel peace,

Gratitude,

And joy.

You deserve to have a heart that feels safe,
