In this 10-minute grounding meditation, you are invited to connect with Goddess Hestia, the goddess of the hearth, inner home, and sacred stillness. Hestia supports grounding, calm, and a gentle return to centre, reminding us that true stability begins within. This meditation is designed to help you slow down, settle your nervous system, and reconnect with a sense of inner safety and steadiness. Through guided presence and a period of quiet affirmation, you are supported to begin again from a place of warmth, simplicity, and ease. This practice is especially helpful if you are feeling overwhelmed, scattered, anxious, or disconnected, or if you are seeking a grounding meditation to return to calm and inner balance. You are invited to return to this meditation daily, or whenever you need to feel grounded, centred, and at home within yourself. You may wish to keep your journal nearby to write down any reflections or insights that arise during or after the meditation.

Welcome Beautiful.

My name is Leah Skye and I invite you in to this gentle meditation to connect with the energy of the Goddess Hestia.

Hestia is the keeper of the hearth,

The quiet flame at the centre of the home.

She reminds us that we do not need to search far and wide to feel grounded or whole.

This meditation is an invitation to return to yourself.

To soften inward,

To remember the still steady place within where you already belong.

Find a position where your body can soften,

Either seated or lying down.

Just allow yourself to be fully supported in this moment.

If you feel comfortable,

Allow your eyes to gently close and bring your attention to your breath.

Inhale slowly through the nose,

Feeling the belly rise.

And exhale fully through the mouth,

Softening,

Grounded,

Supported.

Again,

Inhale,

Arriving here.

And exhale,

Letting the edges of the day fall away.

Allow your breath to find its own rhythm,

Unforced,

Natural.

Feel the weight of your body resting.

Feel the quiet support beneath you.

You are here.

You are safe.

This moment asks nothing of you.

Now,

Invite in the presence of Hestia.

Hestia,

The keeper of the hearth,

The small steady flame that never leaves.

She does not rush.

She does not demand.

Her power lives in constancy,

In warmth,

In the quiet centre of things.

Sense her near you now,

A gentle warmth,

A calm,

Anchoring stillness.

Hestia reminds you that you do not need to go anywhere to belong.

The centre is not somewhere you seek.

It is somewhere you remember.

You are always welcome here.

Take one slow breath and allow her presence to settle around your heart.

Now bring your awareness inward,

To the centre of your body,

To the place that feels most like home.

And imagine a soft flame glowing there,

Not bright,

Not demanding,

Steady and alive.

This is your inner hearth.

I will offer you now one simple affirmation.

Repeat it quietly to yourself,

Allowing it to sink beneath thought and into feeling.

I will call you back when it's time to return to the room.

I return to my centre.

I return to my centre.

I return to my centre.

With each repetition,

Feel yourself gathering inward,

Settling,

Arriving.

There is nothing to do,

There is nothing to fix.

Only this returning,

This returning to self.

If your mind wanders,

Let it drift back to the words,

Back to the flame.

I return to my centre.

Slowly begin to notice your breath again.

The rise and fall of your chest.

The quiet rhythm of your body.

Feel the flame still glowing within you.

Steady.

Reliable.

Ready for you to return to it whenever you need.

Your centre.

In the smallest of moments,

It is there for you.

Inviting gentle movement back into your body.

Perhaps a wiggle of fingers or toes.

Or stretch out the whole body if it feels good.

And taking one final,

Slow,

Nourishing breath in.

And a long,

Easy breath out.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes.

May all beings be happy and free.

And may my thoughts,

My words and my actions contribute in some way to that happiness and freedom for all.

Blessed Be.
