Our wombs are such a sacred place.
We hold on to so many emotions here,
Whether they be good,
Whether they be something that might be more painful,
It could be happiness,
It could be joy,
It could be tragedy,
It could be grief,
It could be loss.
They are such beautiful parts of us that I don't think we take enough time to acknowledge or honour or even thank for all of the work that they do for us.
Now when we participate in a womb healing session,
We're really trying to connect with that space energetically.
We don't have to have a physical womb in order to participate in a womb healing,
We just have to be able to tap into that energy and that space,
That sacredness that we hold in that area.
So when you're ready,
Just coming into a space that feels comfortable for you.
You don't have to be laying down,
You don't have to be seated,
It can be just any position that feels comfortable for you.
Just making sure that you can completely and fully relax,
That your body can completely and fully relax.
We're just coming into a space that feels natural,
Where your arms can just gently glide by your side,
Your ankles feel nice and soft,
Your feet are gently just resting as they please.
Just making sure and checking in with our face,
Just making sure that all the area,
All the muscles,
The area around your jaw are completely relaxed,
Completely and utterly relaxed.
We tend to hold so much of our attention,
Of our anxieties in the area of our jaw and we're always clenching.
So we really want to just make sure that this area is nice and relaxed.
You might want to just gently give that area a massage,
Just loosen it up a bit,
Maybe move your tongue around your mouth a couple of times,
Just making sure that you are completely and utterly just calm,
Peaceful,
Comfortable in your space.
And then just gently bringing your eyes to close or lowering your gaze,
Lowering your drishti,
Whichever feels more comfortable for you.
Just bringing your palms,
Just gently rest on your lower belly.
Now if this doesn't feel comfortable,
If it doesn't feel natural for you,
You can just gently leave them by your side,
That's not a problem but if it helps you physically connect then it might be nice for you to just gently have your palms on your lower belly.
Just noticing what that feels like as your palms are resting here,
Noticing how it feels with temperature and you feel any movement,
Are there any sensations,
Any tingling,
You might not be able to feel anything at all and there's no right or wrong when we come into this space.
We're just honouring our bodies as they are,
We don't have to change them in any way.
We don't have to set these standards for our womb space.
We live in a place where we are constantly told how to look,
What to be,
What to do,
What's right,
What's wrong but we hardly get a chance to just be,
To just come as we are,
To just arrive,
To just land.
So this is your space to do just that,
Without any judgment,
Without any pressure.
We're just connecting with that womb space,
Just connecting with yourself in this moment.
How are you feeling?
Just allow yourself to be here in this moment,
To feel whatever it is that you want to feel,
To just acknowledge yourself for where you are in this moment without judgment,
Thank yourself for where you are in this moment without judgment and then just gently tuning into that breath,
Noticing the movement of your palms if they're resting on your lower belly.
Do they move?
Can you feel a slight movement?
Can you feel a big movement?
Can you feel where you're breathing from?
Is it through your belly?
Is it through your chest?
Are you taking deep breaths?
Are you taking short breaths?
Again there's no right or wrong,
We're just being present,
There's no need to change anything,
We don't have to alter who we are,
We're just being present with ourselves in this moment,
Just noticing ourselves in this moment.
I'm just tuning into that rhythm of breath,
Noticing its pace,
Its speed,
Is there a pattern to it?
Is there a rhythm to it?
I'm just noticing that physical connection,
Noticing how your physical breath moves through you as your belly rises and falls,
Maybe your chest might rise and fall,
Noticing how it feels when the breath leaves through your nose or your mouth,
Is there a temperature associated with it?
Does it feel warm?
Does it feel cold?
Noticing the physicality of that breath as it moves through you,
As it connects your whole being,
It connects that center space of your womb,
As it travels all the way up through your throat chakra,
All the way out through your mouth or your nose,
As it circulates you,
As it allows things to move around your body,
It regulates your system.
Thanking that breath for being there,
Thanking that breath for being here in this moment.
And then when it feels comfortable to do so,
Just gently taking a slow deep breath in,
Just in your own time,
There's no need to rush it,
There's no need to take any counts,
Just taking that slow breath in for however long you want and as you exhale,
Just allowing it to release as your mouth opens.
If you want to release a sound,
You're welcome to do so,
But it's not important.
And then again when you're ready,
Taking that slow deep breath in and again as you exhale,
Just keeping that mouth open,
Releasing a sound if that feels comfortable for you,
Otherwise just allowing that breath to leave,
Letting it all go.
And then finding that breath again when you're ready,
Taking that deep slow breath in and then as you exhale,
Just gently releasing,
Letting it all go.
Just taking a last one here together,
When you're ready,
Deep breath in,
Exhaling through your mouth and letting everything go,
Just allowing that breath to resume its natural rhythm,
There's no need to change or alter in any way,
Just coming back to you,
Coming back to your space,
Coming back to your body,
Coming back to your breath.
And then just slowly and very gently,
Just bringing your awareness to that womb space,
To that womb center and just noticing what comes up here.
Does anything come up?
Are there any emotions associated with this space?
Can you feel any discomfort?
Does it feel comfortable?
Is there any unease?
Is there any resistance to connecting to this space?
Can we tap into that resistance?
Is there an emotion attached to that resistance?
Just allowing any thoughts to enter,
Acknowledging them and letting them go,
There's no need to hold on to any attachment with our thoughts,
Just allow them to come and go as they please,
We don't have to judge them,
We don't have to hold on to them.
Just always coming back to that womb space,
Whenever you're ready.
And just acknowledging that emotion,
If there's one there and if there isn't,
That's completely fine,
Just staying with that energy,
Just feeling into how it feels.
Is there a message here?
Is the emotion trying to tell us something?
The way we connect with our womb and our feminine energy has a huge impact on our menstrual cycles as we transition through to menopause,
Post-menopause.
If we have a negative relationship with this space,
We often suffer from things like PMS,
Mood swings,
Fertility challenges,
Challenges as we move over to menopause,
To perimenopause,
To post-menopause,
Flushes,
Anxiety,
Dread.
So the more we can connect,
The more we can release,
The more we can empower ourselves in this womb space,
The more ease we have in our flow,
In our cycles,
In our transitions in life.
Our womb is such a sacred place,
Whether we choose to have children or not,
It's incredible that this space is able to create life,
To create magic.
And I don't think that women get the credit that they deserve,
I don't think that we get the honour that we deserve to hold such a sacred space within us.
But we also have to remember that it's also a place that holds great loss,
Grief,
Abandonment,
Sadness,
Anger.
We have to remember that duality exists in everything,
It definitely exists in our womb space and sometimes that disconnect from us voicing our emotions has an impact on our womb space,
That connection of your throat with your womb space.
So again I just ask you to keep tapping into this area,
To this space,
Noticing if there's a colour that comes up for you.
Try to stay in your womb space rather than coming into your mind space.
Notice any sensations,
Any emotions,
Any feelings,
Any thoughts that might come up here and just acknowledging them,
Just sitting with them,
Trying not to resist them if you can.
There may be some resistance connecting with this space,
Especially if we've suffered from a lot of loss,
Any fertility challenges,
It might be quite painful to connect here but just sit with that pain,
Just allow it to be there.
We have to be able to acknowledge all of our emotions in order to release them,
To let them go,
For them to no longer impact us and for us to be able to regulate ourselves.
And as we spend a few moments here just breathing in this space,
Just noticing what comes up,
Emotionally,
Physically,
Just taking a moment to thank yourselves,
To thank your womb space for being here,
For holding you up until now.
And then just gently allowing your fingers to just move in a circular motion around that womb space,
Just applying a gentle bit of pressure,
Just going around in a circular motion from your pelvic bones all the way up above your belly button and then round in a circle.
Just gently massaging this space,
Just noticing if you hear any gurgling in your belly,
If you feel any tenderness as you go around,
Just applying as much pressure as you would like to.
And just notice any release that might be happening through this movement,
Through this motion.
And just taking a couple of rounds here in your own time,
You might want to go around the other direction,
You might want to stay as you are,
You might want to just rest your palms in your womb space and just listen.
So just taking whichever feels more comfortable for you in this moment,
Whichever one is calling to you in this moment.
And then very gently,
Very slowly,
Just allowing your hands to come to a stop,
Just allowing them to gently rest as they are,
Just noticing if there are any sensations,
Any noises,
If the temperature's changed,
If any different emotions come up.
And from here,
Just placing your hands on your lower belly,
We're just going to bring some sound into this space to just release.
We're going to take three sounds and we're really going to feel into that belly,
Into that womb space as we pull that energy,
Any residue,
Any emotions that are ready to be released in this moment,
As we draw them out with our voice and we release through our throat,
We're empowering ourselves to release these emotions.
We're giving ourselves that space to be able to do so.
So very gently,
When you're ready,
After three,
Just taking the Aum sound as loud as you can,
Releasing as loud as you can,
Feeling it through that womb space.
One,
Two,
Three,
Aum.
Aum.
One,
Two,
Three,
Aum.
Feeling that vibration as it travels through you,
For the last time together,
Just taking it as loud as you can,
Releasing as much power behind it as you can.
One,
Two,
Three,
Aum.
And then just letting it go.
Noticing any sensations that are in your body in this moment.
Can you feel anything vibrating?
Are there any emotions that are coming up?
Just allowing them to be there.
And then when you feel ready,
Just giving yourself a hug,
However that might look like.
If you're laying on the ground,
You might want to bring your knees into your chest,
Wrap your arms around the tops of your legs and feel that full body connection.
If you're sitting up,
You might want to just wrap your arms around you.
Just really thanking yourself for taking the moment to be here today,
For taking the time out to acknowledge your womb space,
To thank her for everything that she does for us,
For all the magic and all the pain that she holds all at once.
And for allowing us to bring new life into this world,
If that's something that we choose to do.
And just staying here for as long as you would like to,
Just allowing any emotions to come up,
Acknowledging them and releasing them.
I'm going to leave you here in this moment and I would like to offer that you stay here for as long as what feels comfortable for you.
And really just be,
Just be present with what comes up.
Try not to put any judgment,
Any resistance,
Just give it permission to be there.
And then whenever you feel ready,
You're welcome to just come out of that space.
But for now,
Just rest here in this goodness,
In this peace,
In this tiny slice of heaven that you've created for yourself.
Namaste.
