Welcome to this morning meditation or whatever time of day you're listening.
Allow yourself a moment to find a comfortable position,
Whether seated or lying down.
And as you do this with the recognition that as you relax and quiet the physical body,
You're allowing the quieting of the thinking mind.
When you're ready,
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze,
Letting the outer world fade for now and drawing your awareness inward.
And as you arrive here in this space,
Welcoming a few deep,
Full breaths in through your nose,
Expanding your belly,
Your rib cage and chest.
And as you exhale,
Sigh it out through the mouth,
An extra letting go,
A sense of release.
Again,
Inhaling deeply,
Filling your body with fresh energy,
Nourishment and exhale fully,
Releasing any tension,
Any expectations and continuing to soften into this moment.
And gently bring your awareness to your physical body,
To your senses,
Feeling where your physical body meets the surface beneath you.
Notice the steady support holding you,
Anchoring you,
Allowing your senses to awaken.
Maybe feel the temperature of the air against the skin,
A coolness or a warmth,
Or maybe it's a combination.
Feel the sensation of the clothing against your skin.
And now gently move your awareness to the sounds around you,
Recognizing you don't need to label them,
But you're just bringing your awareness to the sounds around you,
Allowing them to be a part of the meditation.
Maybe the sounds that are further away,
And then bringing awareness to the sounds that are closer to the body.
And gently bring awareness to the soft rhythm of your breathing,
Flowing into the body and flowing out.
With each sensation,
Becoming more present,
More connected,
And more in this moment.
Your physical body is relaxing,
An awareness of this moment that you have everything you need.
Throughout time,
Across cultures,
Across wisdom traditions,
One truth remains constant.
The wisdom you seek is already within you.
As the Upanishads say,
The self is the light that shines within all things.
Know this light,
And you know the truth.
Jesus taught the kingdom of God is within you.
The Buddha reminds us,
Look within,
You are the light.
And so I ask you,
What if this is true?
What if the clarity,
The strength,
The guidance you've been searching for is not outside of you,
But already present,
Right here,
Right now,
Waiting to be heard,
Waiting to be explored,
To be trusted,
Embraced.
Welcome a slow breath in,
And let that possibility settle into your heart.
And ask yourself,
If I truly believed that my wisdom and strength are already within me,
How would I move through today?
How would I communicate with others and with myself?
How would I show up?
And what would my relationships feel like if I approach them with this deep inner knowing?
Allow your breath to guide your deeper awareness,
A deeper exploration,
Breathing deeply,
And shift your focus inward.
If I truly trusted myself,
How would my breath feel?
How would my muscles hold themselves,
Relaxed,
Open,
Confident,
At ease?
What subtle shift do I notice in my posture,
My relationship with my body?
Allow your body to naturally adjust,
Softening into ease,
Rising into quiet confidence.
Feel this truth,
Not just as a thought,
But as a sensation in your body.
This is your inner wisdom speaking,
Not through words,
Not through words,
But through presence.
Now ask yourself,
Is there one simple way I can embody this truth today?
Is there one simple way I can embody this truth today?
It could be how I respond to a challenge,
The way I carry myself as I walk through the world,
The words I choose when I speak to myself,
A moment where I pause and simply remember,
I am enough.
Or even something deeper.
I am more than enough.
Breathe in that knowing.
Let it fill you.
Allow it to support you,
To comfort you.
Now,
With a deep inhale,
Expanding,
And as you exhale,
Releasing the doubts,
Welcoming the deep inhale,
Expanding,
And exhale,
Letting go.
Once more,
Inhaling and exhaling with awareness,
Softening the jaw,
Relaxing the shoulders,
Easing into trust.
And as you prepare to return to your day,
Carry this truth with you.
You do not need to search outside of yourself for strength,
Wisdom,
Or clarity.
It has been within you all along.
You are enough.
You are more than enough.
Whenever you need to reconnect,
To remember,
Simply return to this breath,
This moment,
This knowing.
Gently begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Bringing sensation back into your physical body.
And when you're ready,
Slowly begin to open your eyes.
Carrying this energy with you into your day.
Moving forward with confidence,
Trust,
And ease.
Your wisdom is within you.
