Hello,
My name is Joel and I am honored to guide you through this meditation.
Together we'll gently explore the beliefs and emotions that may no longer serve you and release them in a safe and supportive way.
This is a moment for freedom,
A chance to create space for compassion,
Growth and self-discovery.
Begin by finding a comfortable position.
You might choose to sit with your feet grounded or lie down with your body fully supported.
Take a moment to shift or adjust anything to make yourself as comfortable as possible.
And when you're ready,
Allow your eyes to close softly and bring your attention inward.
Begin to notice the sensations of your body where it meets the surface beneath you.
And allow yourself to feel completely supported by this foundation.
And take a slow inhale through your nose and a soft,
Steady exhale through your mouth.
Notice the rhythm of your breath,
Smooth and natural,
Like a stream gently flowing over smooth stones.
With each exhale,
Feel yourself letting go,
Beginning to settle more deeply into this moment of calm.
There's nowhere else you need to be,
Nothing else you need to do.
This time,
It's just for you.
Take a few moments now to deepen your relaxation.
Breathe in slowly through your nose,
Feeling the cool soothing air as it fills your lungs.
And hold it gently for a moment.
And then exhale softly,
Feeling warm,
Soothing release as the breath flows out.
Now bring your attention to the top of your head.
Imagine a gentle breeze brushing across your scalp,
Bringing with it a sense of lightness.
And slowly allow that lightness to flow down into your forehead.
And feel it smooth out any tension there,
Like ripples on a pond settling into stillness.
Move through your eyes,
Your cheeks and your jaw.
Feel your face soften,
As though a feather-light touch is helping you release any tightness or holding.
Picture your jaw loosening and your lips parting slightly.
Then shift your awareness to your shoulders.
Imagine them sinking lower,
As though a weight is being lifted.
Feel the warmth of your breath softening your shoulders,
Allowing them to rest fully.
Now bring your attention to your arms and hands.
Picture them growing heavy and relaxed,
Like leaves resting gently on still water.
Travel down to your chest.
Notice the rise and fall of your breath.
With each exhale,
Feel your chest open and soften.
Imagine any tension dissolving into the air like mist.
And continue to move this sense of release into your stomach,
Your hips and your legs.
Feel each area grow heavy and serene.
Finally,
Focus on your feet,
Picturing them sinking into solid,
Comforting support.
You are calm,
And you are steady.
So rest here for a moment in this stillness.
Now bring your awareness to your heart center,
The area in the middle of your chest.
And picture this space as a quiet pool of water,
Shimmering gently under soft light.
The water is clear and calm,
Ready to help you release what no longer serves you.
Then take a moment to imagine a belief,
A thought,
Or an emotion that feels heavy or limiting.
You don't need to force anything,
Simply notice what comes to mind.
It might be a feeling of self-doubt.
Maybe it's fear,
Guilt,
Or something else you're ready to release.
Picture that belief or emotion as a lift resting on the surface of the water in your heart.
There's no need to judge it or hold on to it.
Simply see it for what it is,
And honor it for the role it's played in your life.
Now imagine the water beginning to flow gently in a stream carrying the lift away.
Watch as it drifts further and further,
Moving with the flow of the water,
And see it dissolve and disappear into the distance.
With each breath,
Notice how much lighter you feel as though space is opening up inside of you.
If another belief or feeling comes to mind,
Repeat this process.
Picture it as another lift,
Setting it gently on the surface of the water and allowing it to flow away.
This flowing stream represents your ability to release what no longer serves you.
It reminds you that you can always choose to create space for kindness,
For love,
For hope.
So stay here for a moment,
Watching the leaves drift away,
And feeling yourself becoming freer and lighter with each breath.
Now,
In this space of lightness and freedom,
I invite you to repeat some affirmations silently or aloud.
These words are here to help you replace what was released,
Filling you with positive energy and self-belief.
The first one.
I am free to release what no longer serves me.
Second.
I am worthy of love,
Kindness,
And compassion.
Third.
I am enough,
Just as I am.
My heart is open to growth and healing.
And finally.
I trust myself to create the life I desire.
With each phrase,
Feel these affirmations taking root in the open space within you.
They are like seeds planted in fertile soil,
Growing stronger with every breath you take.
Feel their truth resonating in your heart,
Radiating outward.
Now take a deep,
Nourishing inhale.
And a long,
Relaxing exhale.
Planting these feelings of freedom and worthiness deep within you.
Now begin to bring your awareness back to your body.
Notice again the surface beneath you,
Steady and supportive.
Feel the rhythm of your breath,
Still,
Calm,
And steady,
Like a gentle swell and retreat of waves on a quiet shore.
When you're ready,
Lightly wiggle your fingers and toes,
Letting movement return to your body.
Roll your shoulders softly,
Feeling the energy of this moment awakening you.
When you're ready to end this meditation,
Open your eyes softly and notice how you feel.
Lighter.
Calmer.
Freer.
Take a moment to thank yourself for creating the space to release what no longer serves you and replacing it with love and self-compassion.
Thank you for allowing me to guide you today.
May peace and light continue to support you on your path.
