Visualize yourself as the embodiment of an intention in this centering meditation. First, you'll select your intention for the meditation (suggested are offered). Next, you'll begin to embody the intention in physical form as we begin our meditation practice. As we move through the practice, visualization prompts are offered as you explore and discover how the intention could become manifest in your life, and what it will take to keep it manifest. You'll leave this meditation feeling ready to shine brightly with the energy that you've decided to put out into the world.

Call to mind an energy or an intention that you'd like to embody in this meditation practice that we're about to embark on.

Have something clear,

Something simple.

Examples could be loving,

Easeful,

Joyful,

Cheeky,

Playful,

Curious,

Optimistic,

Honest,

Confident,

Peaceful,

Trusting,

Free,

Courageous,

Creative,

Authentic.

Choose something and repeat your intention to yourself silently three times to crystallize it.

Create a meditation seat that you're proud of.

Have your physical form reflect alertness and awareness while simultaneously embodying a sense of ease and centeredness.

And centeredness as a physical stacking of the vertebrae in the spine,

One on top of the other,

And the neck sitting squarely between the shoulders,

The crown of the head directly above the neck with a slight tuck of the jaw in towards the body.

And create symmetry with the placement of your arms and your hands.

And the hands can be either both down on your legs or both palms facing upwards.

Blink your eyes to a close.

As you true up your physical form in alignment with centered stillness,

Draw your awareness to the here now moment to yourself as sitting in your meditation seat right here in the room or the space you're currently in.

Present with what's going on right now different from drifting and thought in the mind.

Present,

Clear,

Right here in this moment,

You,

Your body,

Your physical form here in this meditation seat.

Your mind connected to the body,

Centered from the skin in.

Fill your body up with breath and empty out.

Notice how clear you feel in this moment.

Light,

Open from the space of openness of receptivity.

Bring your awareness back to the intention that you declared earlier.

The intention,

The energy,

The feeling,

The direction you've chosen to embody.

Starting right now.

Inhale and allow this new feeling this intention to saturate your being from head to toe.

And on your exhale,

Release anything that's not that intention.

Visualize yourself as a person who embodies this intention,

This North Star.

And generate a mental image and experience of yourself,

Your highest self,

As you know,

Living and being and walking and talking true to your intention.

And different from what society says,

Or from what the people who you know,

Say,

From what your family thinks.

You know,

Clear on you,

Your highest self,

Your truest self,

As a manifestation of your intention.

What could that look and be like?

Begin to paint a picture in your mind's eye.

What would a version of yourself who is fully living into this feeling this energy,

This intention be doing?

What would their daily life look like?

What would they wear?

What types of relationships would they have relationships that were important to them?

And who would be the people who they spend the most time with?

What energy would a you that embodies this intention bring into a room?

How would other people describe this version of yourself?

And in what way would people be impacted by your contribution?

And what practices would you need to keep up to stay centered and on the path of your particular intention that's uniquely yours.

And if something were to come up that wasn't in alignment with the light of your way forward your higher way your path.

How would you reroute,

You know,

Back towards your intention?

What would it take to stay on your path towards your light despite what could come up?

With a stake in the ground.

And this anchor point of your intention at the center of all your actions.

And even at the center of your thoughts really start to experience this very breath this in breath right now as a manifestation of your intention and the energy that you've chosen to embody.

On each breath in allowing the intention to permeate your being from head to toe.

And on each exhale retracting energy from your ways of being in misalignment with your highest self.

Breathing in the intention and breathing out everything else.

It's centered,

Steady,

Consistent,

Dependable,

And clear.

And of course thoughts,

Situations,

Scenarios,

Itches or sensation in the body will naturally arise and draw your awareness away from the visualization of your intention.

And when this happens to me in these moments I like to stay and playfully catch you know what took me out at what point did I fall through the trap door of unfocused thinking.

And notice it and then gently bring myself back to the intention.

Re-guiding myself to the intention my intention as manifest right here in this moment.

Noticing myself fill up with that energy on my in breath.

And give up something that's not my intention on my out breath.

Enjoying the dance of you know accidentally letting go of the intention and then making a conscious choice to bring the intention back into the foreground.

Gently catching ourselves in a drift and reeling ourselves back in towards our anchor.

And practicing the conversation with ourselves as the inner witness.

A loving noticing of when attention strays to other areas and a calm shepherding of our consciousness back into our breath in this space.

Our intention manifest in our meditation seat,

Our being radiating the energy of our intention with who we are,

We may boomerang into something that's outside of this space.

A temporary urge that's arising from the body,

Or perhaps there's thoughts rushing in of various things we need or want to do.

So we make a conscious choice to chuckle at the tendency of our mind to create this feeling of rushing.

And for right now we choose patience and stillness instead.

And we delicately ungrip our focus from whatever that is and return our mind and our heart to the touchstone.

That is our intention manifest in this moment through our breath right here in this meditation seat.

Recentering refocusing back to your intention,

Your North Star,

Clear,

Focused,

Moving forward and lit up from the inside,

Casting light out and burning on a consistent,

Gentle glow,

Uniquely yours,

Clear,

Warm and decisive.

To close our meditation,

We'll take one big deep breath in.

Let it go.

Blink your eyes open.

Namaste.

Namaste.
