Welcome to the second part of this journey.

This is a short,

10-minute guided relaxation and embodiment practice.

Take a moment to settle.

Let your body find a comfortable position.

Maybe lying down or sitting.

Whatever allows you to release effort.

Let your eyes close or soften your gaze.

Let's begin not by doing,

But by listening.

Listening to what is already here,

Inside,

Around,

Beneath.

You don't need to change anything right now.

Your breath,

Your heartbeat,

Your way,

They already belong.

There are places in the body that wait for permission.

Not to be touched,

But to be felt.

To be noticed.

To be met with presence.

When we ask,

What is safety if not touch?

We might find safety begins inside.

In a breath that's not rushed.

In a spine that feels no demand.

In a jaw that no longer holds back words or tears.

Safety is not something we earn,

It's something we uncover.

Something we remember in the tissues,

In the stillness.

It can arrive like a wave or a whisper.

Like the moment you realize you are allowed to be here.

Notice where your body touches the ground.

Let gravity hold you.

Let your muscles give in,

Just a little.

Let your belly soften.

Let your shoulders melt,

Just enough to not resist.

Notice your hands,

How are they resting?

Is there tension in the fingers?

The wrists?

Would it feel safe to unclench,

Even slightly?

Notice your skin,

Your edges.

The place where you end and the world begins.

There is intelligence in this boundary.

It tells you when to soften and when to hold.

You don't need to push through discomfort.

This isn't a practice of force.

This is a practice of permission.

Breathe.

Feel what breath does in your body.

Not because you should,

But because it's already happening.

You are already breathing.

Maybe,

Just maybe,

Somewhere deep inside,

Your body knows what safety feels like.

Not as a memory,

But as a possibility.

So stay with it,

With the trembling,

With the silence,

With the moment you realize touch begins inside,

With your own attention.

And maybe this,

This gentle noticing is enough.

Start by gently moving your toes and fingers.

If it feels good,

Slowly,

At all your head,

From side to side.

Take your time,

There's no need to hurry.

Let your body arrive back into the space,

Gently.

If this practice felt nourishing to you,

I invite you to come with me to the third part of this journey.
