Today's practice is about exploring and discovering your values.

Consider having a pen and paper nearby to reflect after the meditation.

Your values are your guiding light,

Your north star.

They represent what you believe in,

What you stand for,

And what brings meaning to your life.

They guide your choices and help you live authentically.

Let's begin.

Finding a comfortable seat or lying down.

Ensuring your body feels supported and relaxed.

Gently closing your eyes or softening your gaze.

Taking a deep breath in,

Filling your lungs completely,

And exhaling slowly.

Let's take a few more deep breaths,

Inhaling deeply,

Allowing your body to relax with each breath.

Letting your breath settle into its natural rhythm.

As the body and mind find stillness,

Begin to turn your attention inward.

We'll start by reflecting on the areas of your life that are most important to you.

Is it relationships,

Career,

Parenting,

Leisure,

Spirituality,

Community involvement?

Gently consider what you value in each of these areas that are important to you.

What qualities or principles resonate deeply with you?

It might help to ask yourself these questions.

What areas of life give me the most meaning and fulfillment?

What activities make me feel alive and engaged?

What values help guide me through decisions and challenges?

Taking a moment to let these questions settle,

And noticing what arises without judgment.

Perhaps words like authenticity,

Connection,

Creativity,

Family come to mind.

Maybe you value health,

Empathy,

Independence,

Love,

Wisdom.

Whatever emerges,

Simply observing it,

Acknowledging its importance to you.

Now,

Reflect on how these values influence your daily life.

Think about moments when you felt proud,

Fulfilled,

Or truly yourself.

What values were you honoring in those moments?

For example,

If honesty is a core value,

You might recall times when being truthful brought you a sense of peace.

If family is a priority,

Perhaps memories of quality time with loved ones comes to mind.

You might consider how living in alignment with your values affects your well-being.

When your actions reflect your core beliefs,

You feel empowered,

Less defensive,

And more resilient in the face of adversity.

Staying true to your values helps you focus on what you can control,

And let's go of what you cannot.

As we near the end of this meditation,

Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Invite small movements into your body,

Wiggling your fingers and toes,

Rolling your shoulders,

Or stretching softly.

Taking a few deeper breaths,

Feeling the air fill your lungs,

And gently releasing it.

As you move back into your day,

Remember your values are always with you,

Ready to guide and support you.

Each time you reflect on them,

You strengthen your connection to your authentic self.

Thank you for taking this time for yourself.

May your values continue to guide your path.
