The purpose of this meditation is to create an inner state that supports manifesting a new possibility. By imagining and feeling what it’s like to have an experience, you establish a neural network in your body, heart, and mind that is receptive to and supportive of this experience. Mentally rehearsing an experience primes your body, heart, and mind to welcome, recognize, and act on similar opportunities in your life.

Manifesting a new possibility In these times when many of our routines and life structures are being shaken,

Shifted,

Or reimagined,

It's natural to feel anxious,

Frustrated,

Or wonder if it's possible for things to come together in a better way.

Yet,

What if these challenges are unique opportunities for you to pause your normal routine and look deeper,

So you can take up new possibilities?

Having a sense for a greater purpose in what's happening not only diminishes anxiety,

It can also open up a whole new way of being that's oriented to welcoming new possibilities.

So,

To begin,

Consider a possibility,

A quality,

A feeling,

Or an experience that you would like to welcome more of in your life.

Manifesting means to make evident,

To bring into appearance,

To bring something forth from the background,

So it is known and experienced.

You participate in manifesting by first resting as the infinite potential and openness of awareness itself,

Then perceiving,

Feeling,

And acting in alignment with a specific possibility.

You experience this possibility in consciousness first.

You welcome it into consciousness by imagining it,

And feeling what it is like to experience it.

Then,

You recognize it appearing as opportunities in your life,

And act in alignment with these opportunities.

So,

A big part of manifesting is training yourself to see in a new way,

Training yourself to recognize these opportunities in your life,

And then acting in alignment with them.

So the purpose of this meditation is to create an inner state that supports a new possibility.

By imagining and feeling what it's like to have an experience,

You establish a neural network in your body,

Heart,

And mind that is receptive to and supportive of this experience.

Mentally rehearsing an experience primes your body,

Heart,

And mind to welcome,

Recognize,

And act on similar opportunities in your life.

So,

Let's begin by moving into meditative awareness,

Which is conducive to manifesting.

Sit comfortably upright,

With the soles of your feet flat on the floor,

And rest your palms cupped in your lap in an open,

Receptive posture.

This hand position,

This mudra,

Embodies your openness to new possibilities.

Lightly close your eyes.

Take a moment to check in inside.

Notice how you feel right now.

See if you can be really honest with exactly how you're feeling right now.

See if you can completely accept exactly how you're feeling.

If you could sum up your feeling in a word,

Phrase,

Or image,

What would this be?

Consider that you are here on purpose,

And have things to experience and share,

Not only for yourself,

But for others,

And for the well-being of all beings.

Consider holding this deeper and wider intention for this practice,

That your practice is dedicated to the well-being of all beings.

Now,

Focus down into your feet,

And feel the sensations of contact of your feet on the ground,

To ground you in this present moment.

So,

If you want to wiggle your toes,

Or press your feet down into the ground,

To awaken sensory awareness in your feet,

You can go ahead and do that.

Now,

Soften and relax your feet,

Imagining and feeling as if they are melting deep down into the grounding support of the earth.

Really feel the grounding support of the earth,

And thank the earth for providing everything you need.

Focus into your palms and fingers resting in your lap.

Soften,

Open,

And relax your hands and fingers,

Feeling as if they are melting down into your legs.

Feel this soft openness in your hands,

This receptivity,

This soft,

Open space.

As your hands relax,

Allow your arms and shoulders to relax down,

Releasing any tension in your arms,

Shoulders,

And neck.

Imagine a string attached to the top of your head,

Drawing your spine gently upright,

Giving you a feeling of awakened clarity,

Rising from your perineum and tailbone,

Up through the core of your body,

Up through your spine,

And through the top of your head.

You might notice a tingling,

A lightness of energy at the top of your head.

Notice how it feels to sit more upright.

You might feel more uplifted,

Purposeful,

Intentional,

And empowered.

Tuck your chin just slightly to gently lengthen the back of your neck.

Rest your tongue upon the roof of your mouth,

With the tip of your tongue touching the gum line behind your upper front teeth.

Soften and relax your tongue here.

Smile,

A subtle smile of calm happiness,

Of appreciation and gratitude for this time to relax,

Focus inside,

And welcome new possibilities.

Allow the feeling of smiling to release any tension in your jaw.

Relax your eyes,

Your eyebrows,

And your forehead.

Allow the feeling of smiling to wash down into the warm,

Open space of your heart.

Smile into your heart.

Feel calm happiness in your heart.

Smile and breathe through your heart.

As you breathe in,

Feel as if you are breathing calm into your heart.

And as you breathe out,

Feel as if you are breathing out happiness from your heart through all your cells.

Breathe in calm,

And really feel calm infusing your heart.

And breathe out happiness from your heart through all your cells.

And really feel this happiness.

As you breathe in,

Count the length of your inhalation,

Perhaps to a count of four,

Five,

Or six.

And as you breathe out,

Count an equal length of exhalation,

Perhaps four,

Five,

Or six.

Enjoy the feeling of smiling and breathing in and out through your heart with an equal length of inhalation and exhalation.

Really emphasize the feeling of calm as you inhale,

And the feeling of happiness as you exhale.

Breathing and smiling in and out through your heart with an equal length of inhalation and exhalation supports a feeling of coherence,

Relaxation,

And calm happiness that sets the stage for welcoming new possibilities.

When you embody the positive feeling of calm happiness,

You are embodying a frequency.

And that frequency signals positive effects through the liquid crystalline cellular matrix of your body,

And resonates through your thoughts,

Feelings,

Perceptions,

And actions,

Your relationships,

And through the whole field around you,

Creating coherence,

Harmony,

And health.

So enjoy this feeling of breathing calm happiness and smiling through your heart.

Allow your attention to become completely absorbed in the feeling of breathing calm happiness,

So everything else fades to the background.

Now let go of focusing on your breath,

And open to a felt sense of being,

Simply being.

Is there any boundary to this felt sense of being?

Does it begin or end?

Is it possible,

Rather than resting in a felt sense of being,

To rest as being?

Rest as being itself.

Simply being.

As being,

Is anything lacking?

Is there anything you need to do to be?

Is this felt sense of being familiar?

Is it something you've always known?

Inquire deeper into this felt sense of being.

This boundless openness.

Prior to form and content.

Prior to language and thinking.

Prior to you and me.

This dimensionless origin.

Pure potential.

Pure openness.

Pure possibility.

Simply being.

Now become aware of the space of your body.

The space of your individualized consciousness.

Within this vast open space of being.

As an expression of this boundless openness.

You are an open space where awareness itself has experiences.

You are an open space of possibility.

Consider again that you are here on purpose.

And there are specific possibilities that life is bringing forth through you.

You might ask your heart,

What does life want to bring forth through me right now?

What new possibility?

Just notice what arises.

You may have different things come up.

Choose one possibility to focus on for this meditation.

What would you like to experience more of in your life?

It could be a quality such as peace,

Love,

Joy.

Or a specific experience of health,

Healing,

Abundance,

Creativity,

Work,

Relationship.

What is ready to come forth through you?

Again,

Choose one possibility to focus on for this meditation.

Once you've chosen an experience,

Imagine important details of this experience.

What are you doing?

Are you by yourself or with anyone else?

What are significant details of the environment?

Is anything being said?

Imagine this experience using whatever senses really bring it to life for you.

Imagine this experience as vividly as you can.

Create a clear sensory image of this experience in your mind.

Using whatever sensory details are most vivid for you.

Now,

Step into this image.

Step into this scene so it surrounds you.

As if you are immersed in living this experience right now.

Notice what it feels like to live this experience right now.

How does it feel?

What does it look like?

What does it sound like?

Are there any tastes or smells in this experience?

Play this scene forward so you experience engaging in this activity and how it feels to be doing this.

Maybe you're celebrating an experience,

A feeling.

Celebrating an achievement.

Or just basking in a specific possibility.

Notice how this experience has a positive effect on those around you.

Really enjoy living this experience and really feel it.

Notice how this builds and grows,

How it takes on a life of its own.

Notice how it expands in ways you might never have imagined.

Notice how this experience plays out and the positive effects it has.

Imagine important steps you might take to bring this experience to fruition.

What are some important action steps?

Things you could do to bring this experience or quality into your life.

Are these steps that you are ready and willing to take?

Notice if there is any resistance either to having this experience or to any of the steps you need to take to have this experience.

You can notice resistance by feelings of uneasiness,

Tension,

Irritation,

Self-judgment,

Or even pain or tightness somewhere in your body.

Do you notice any resistance to having this experience or to taking the steps in order to have this experience?

Just notice.

Sometimes resistance is about fear or about not being able to accept and receive a new possibility.

Maybe part of you doesn't feel worthy of it.

Perhaps you are afraid of what it might entail,

What it will ask of you.

Perhaps you worry about what others might think or say about it.

Just notice and recognize any resistance and gently,

Compassionately bring that resistance into the light of awareness.

It's good to recognize resistance and accept it.

As you become aware of your own feelings related to this experience,

You can choose how you relate to them.

What do you need to be able to do internally to have and really welcome this experience,

To really open up to it?

Are there any inner shifts you need to make?

As you think about perhaps making these inner shifts,

Think about the positive impact this experience has on your life and the lives of those around you.

What if there is a deeper purpose in this new possibility?

What if it really makes a difference,

Even if it seems small?

What if you are here to experience this and bring it into the world?

Now,

Focus again on this experience life is calling forth through you.

Again,

Immerse yourself in this activity,

In this feeling,

As if you are living in it right now.

How does it feel?

Is there any way you'd like to adjust the experience so it feels even better,

So it really lights up with enthusiasm and really makes you smile?

Go ahead and make any adjustments to this experience so it feels just right,

So it really lights up and makes you smile.

Enjoy living this experience right now.

Enjoy the feeling of it and smile big,

Welcoming it into your life.

Once the experience feels just right,

Take a snapshot image of this experience and how it feels to live it.

Give this experience a name,

A name that makes you smile whenever you think it or say it.

Record this image,

Feeling,

And name together in your body,

Heart,

And mind.

So,

It's a powerful landmark of intention you can use to guide your thoughts,

Feelings,

And actions.

And now,

Ask your heart,

What is one thing I can do to bring this experience to fruition?

This can be any action,

No matter how small.

What is one action you are ready to do now?

Set a time when you'll take this action and really commit to it.

Set a time as soon as possible.

Now,

To bring this meditation to a close,

Recall the name,

Image,

And feeling of your desired experience and absorb it deeply in your consciousness.

Record it in every cell.

Smile and really feel the joy of it.

Know that you can return to imagining and feeling this experience anytime to strengthen it,

To inspire you,

To give you a greater sense of meaning and purpose,

And to welcome this new possibility into your life.

Very slowly begin to open your eyes and take in the feeling of the space around you,

Together with the space inside,

As one open space of possibility.

You are an open space of possibility.

Take a few moments to integrate this experience.

Be on the lookout for opportunities related to this experience in your life.

Recognize and welcome opportunities to act in alignment with this experience.

These opportunities are all around you.

Make a point to notice them and notice how they make a real difference in your life and the lives of those around you.

And feeling of your desired experience,
