Hi and welcome to this embodiment meditation to guide you to awaken the wisdom of your body.
Find a comfortable position either standing with your feet about hip width apart and soft knees or sitting.
Allow your eyes to gently close and bring your awareness inward.
Take a deep breath in through the nose filling up your belly.
Hold for a moment and exhale slowly through your mouth releasing any tension.
Again inhale deeply feeling your ribs expand and exhale letting go.
One more deep breath in and exhale the sigh.
Now bring your awareness to the place where your body meets the ground or wherever you're sitting.
Feel the solid support beneath you and with each breath allow yourself to sink a little deeper settling into this moment.
Now gently shift your awareness inwards to the body itself.
Embodiment is a practice of fully inhabiting your body moving beyond thought and into the deep intelligence of sensation,
Feeling and presence.
Your body is constantly speaking to you.
It holds memories,
Emotions and your intuition.
A quiet knowing wisdom that guides you beyond logic.
When we learn to listen to the body we connect to our intuition,
Emotional and nervous system regulation,
The present moment and a deep sense of trust in ourselves.
Today you will learn to awaken this connection feeling,
Sensing and embodying the wisdom that's already within us.
Let's begin.
Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.
No need to change it,
Just observe.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest,
The gentle expansion and contraction of your body and the air moving in and out of your nostrils.
Now shifting your awareness downwards,
Scanning your body from head to toe,
Starting at the top of your head.
Just noticing any tension,
Tingling,
Warmth.
Move down to your jaw,
Your neck and your shoulders.
Do they feel open or tight,
Light or heavy?
Continue scanning your arms and hands,
Your chest and ribs,
Your belly and hips,
Your legs and feet.
And with every inhale feel your awareness expanding.
With every exhale letting go of tension and softening into presence.
I invite you to bring your awareness to a part of your body that feels alive.
Perhaps this is a warm sensation in your heart,
A flutter in your belly or a vibration in your fingertips.
Simply notice it.
Observe it without judgment and without trying to change it.
Does it feel open,
Tight,
Energetic or still?
Your body is constantly speaking.
Let it guide you moment by moment.
If a sensation feels strong breathe into it.
Give it space,
Allow it to move,
Expand,
Shift.
This is the language of embodiment.
Listening,
Feeling and allowing.
Now if your body wants to move,
Allow it.
Maybe your head wants to gently roll side to side.
Maybe your shoulders want to soften and drop.
Maybe your spine wants to sway.
Follow what feels good.
No force,
No control,
Just intuitive movement.
If stillness calls you,
Stay in stillness.
Let your breath be the movement.
Allow this moment to be fully yours.
Now ask your body a question.
What do you need right now?
What is your body telling you?
And rather than thinking,
Listen.
The answer may come as a sensation,
An emotion,
A knowing.
Your body is your guide,
Is always speaking and always whispering the next step.
And just rest in this awareness,
Simply being.
Now gently bringing your awareness back to your breath.
Back to the support beneath you.
And take a deep inhale.
Exhaling slowly.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Bringing some movement back to your body.
And when you feel ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Carrying the sense of embodiment,
Presence and wisdom with you today.
Whenever you need guidance,
Simply return back to the space and listen.
Thank you for practicing with me.
