Tap your way to self-compassion in under ten minutes with this EFT Tapping meditation. EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) involves tapping on certain points of the body while repeating phrases that remind us of how we feel. This helps to acknowledge and neutralize difficult feelings and bring in feelings of peace and calm. Disclaimer: Please don't listen to this meditation while driving. Welcome to this EFT tapping meditation to focus today on self-compassion.

Simply tap the points that I say and repeat the phrase after me.

You might want to repeat the phrase out loud with emotion to feel the best benefits,

But you can also repeat the phrase in your head.

Tapping the side of the hand.

Even though I'm struggling to feel self-compassion today,

I acknowledge how I feel and I choose to accept where I'm at today.

Continue tapping the side of the hand.

Even though I might feel negative towards myself,

I realize that this isn't serving me and I'm open to the possibility of letting some of this go.

Continue tapping the side of the hand.

And even though I can think of so many reasons why I shouldn't have self-compassion,

I acknowledge how I feel and I choose to deeply and completely accept myself anyway.

Tapping the eyebrows.

Self-compassion feels so far away.

Tapping the outsides of the eyes.

Maybe I'm thinking negative things.

Tapping under the eyes.

Negative things about myself.

Tapping under the nose.

Or negative things about my qualities.

Tapping under the mouth.

Or thinking about things I feel I've done wrong.

Tapping the collarbones.

Or things I think that I said wrong.

Tapping the sides of the chest.

But I'm taking the time now.

Tapping the top of the head.

Taking the time to acknowledge how I feel.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Notice how you feel.

And then begin tapping the eyebrows.

I'm acknowledging how,

Outside of the eyes,

I make myself feel under the eyes.

When I say negative things to myself,

Under the nose.

It doesn't feel good under the mouth.

And it might feel difficult.

Collarbones.

But I'm open to the possibility,

Sides of the chest,

Of being just a little more gentle.

Top of the head.

And being a little more kind to myself.

Gently bringing this round of tapping to a close.

You can rest your hands in your lap or tap your wrists together.

As you take a nice,

Slow,

Deep breath.

Right down into the belly.

And slowly release.

Tapping the eyebrows.

I already have problems to face.

Outsides of the eyes.

And I don't need to add to that.

Below the eyes.

So I choose to let go.

Under the nose.

Of being unkind to myself.

Under the mouth.

And I choose to invite a gentleness.

Collarbones.

To the way I speak to myself.

Sides of the chest.

So that I can face my problems.

Top of the head.

With more ease.

With more grace.

And with more resilience.

Bringing this last round of tapping to a close.

Either resting the hands in the lap or continuing to gently tap the wrists together.

Taking some slow breaths.

Right down into the belly.

Feeling the stillness.

Noticing if there are any seeds of self-compassion.

Maybe just a tiny seed.

Nestled deep within you.

You can repeat this practice as many times as you need.

As you begin to water the seeds of self-compassion.

Honoring where you are today.

Thank you for practicing this EFT tapping meditation.

The practice is now complete.

Cultivated a tiny seed of self compassion. Will return to this in the future. The affirmations were said at a good pace, enough time was given for me to repeat them out loud. Thank you
