
Can You Give Up Searching? Be In The Present Moment
This meditation will help you slow down and get in touch with your body. Surrended to the present moment and whatever is coming up. Open your heart to all that is going on for you, pause for a moment and pay attention to your body's calling for attention and love. Everything that you are looking for is in you. My hope is that this meditation will help you experience peace no matter what's going on outside of you. Thank you for showing up for yourself and joining me here!

Hello,
Welcome here.
Are you sometimes searching out there for who you are?
What can you do better?
How can you get rid of your pain or discomfort?
But all of it seems to be such a hard work that tires you out and if it helps then just temporarily But what if there is another way?
Perhaps you were brought to this meditation because you feel somewhere deep within you That there is more peaceful way to be So let's start by creating a space together Space in which you can be however you are in this moment.
Let's take two deep breaths inhale And exhale Inhale and exhale see if you can drop any expectations of Of yourself of this moment or what's about to come free of judgment and if judgment arises in your mind Just let it be Don't judge your judgment as it came it will also go you can watch your thoughts See them come and see them go some thoughts will be easier to observe and some will pull your attention Away for a brief moment It might feel like you were gone and weren't listening,
But it was just your attention that got lost in thought Let it be as it is and if your mind wanders It's perfectly normal when you notice Gently guide your attention back to your body your body is an anchor in the present moment as long as your attention Is on your body or on your breath?
You are present and it is only in presence that your body and mind heals It's only always now Where your body is that life unfolds?
See if you can let go of the desire to change your situation Would you feel or think your focus is on being present with whatever arises in you?
Notice the aliveness in your body.
Can you feel your hands?
Notice your heartbeat or your ears picking up sounds if something distracts you it's okay It's all part of this practice Every time you bring your attention back to your body you are strengthening your ability to be present You become more rooted in your being New neural pathways in your brain are being created and things will become easier and easier so Welcome distractions and let them drive you deeper into yourself our minds tend to hold on to what's unpleasant Very tight,
But our body and spirit suffers as a result of it.
There's nothing wrong with you There's nothing wrong with your mind It's doing what it's meant to do It's trying to protect you and save you but have you ever wondered where did it got its ideas about?
What's good,
And what's bad?
What's safe and what's not?
Our minds are amazing,
But not perfect conditioned by society and our lifelong experiences We took on some beliefs that didn't match who we are We adopted behaviors we saw around and if something didn't feel right We committed to doing better next time in hopes to feel better to do better But all of these beliefs that were meant to help us over time just piled up one on another Created a rigid wall around ourselves wall That keeps us virtually safe from all that's perceived as bad But also keeps us stuck inside Unable to move freely have fun trust Love and enjoy life.
We don't let the world see who we are out of fear of being crushed But at the same time this wall keeps us separated from all the beauty and possibilities Our greatest defenses become our darkest prison.
We shrink in our mind become fragile scared and hungry for love We feel hurt by the world not realizing that what hurts us the most is our own Prison that we once built to be our heaven our safe place by your non reaction to your mind you're teaching it that you're safe and When your mind feels safe,
It will slowly start to drop its defenses Every time you fight against your protection it gets stronger The same way as if someone from the outside would try to break in You have to understand.
What is this wall of protection protecting and as you get to know yourself more deeply You will come to see that some defenses are no longer necessary That you have outgrown your pain that they don't protect you anymore But hold you back your defenses then become your guides to something raw Inside of you that needs to be heard Accepted nurtured and loved and with that kind of attention your wall will start breaking apart Letting the love and light in but until then it serves a purpose So don't fight against it,
Please Try to accept it.
This is your brains way of protecting you not realizing its defects One of them be the fact that when you build such a rigid wall around yourself You also block yourself to see the reality as is all you can see is the reality of your prison Nothing new can grow from there Only the same actions will be generated The actions that keep you stuck in the first place So the faint voice that brought you here is a part of you that knows There is a reality out there quite different to your experience It wants you to feel loved seen and heard Accepted as you are but to get there you have to get in touch with your current experience Simply be and let everything happen Accept yourself Not as you wish you were or hope to be But as you are Right now accept everything that comes with you all your pains All your pains all your beliefs all your feelings and emotions You're not what your mind tells you you are You're the awareness that perceives it all but you have to accept what is coming up for you in order to look at it closely Hold it and then let it go when you resist all these things.
You're not allowing them to pass through you They're stuck and you feel stuck too.
So please Allow whatever is coming up to come up It will come up and go sooner or later I promise and I am here with you now Take your attention and scan your body and see what wants your attention the most and give it It wants to be seen and cared for It wants the same love you desire is a pain or discomfort Can you feel into it and let it be exactly as it is?
And just listen is a sadness Anger say I see you and I'm here with you and feel it Feel how that energy feels in your body and now skin again.
What wants your attention now?
Maybe the same area or feeling or you might notice that things had shifted and something else calls to be seen now Can you go there and feel it?
Even if it's painful Try to relax into it and let it be there Welcome it.
I know it's unpleasant But it's not dangerous and you are safe All of this will pass but has to be felt first Focus on what's coming up for you?
Drop any desire to change what is These sensations to just your body's way of talking to you It needs to be heard and that's what you're doing right now By being with your discomforts.
You are sure that you are safe Discomforts you are showing up for yourself.
You are allowing yourself to be as you are You're doing something very simple and hard at the same time Notice that you are here as the awareness of the pain You are not the pain.
You're also not the ideas your mind has about the pain You are the driver your body's your vessel and your mind is the one who narrates everything So feel the pain and let your shoulders drop Allow both to exist at the same time or perhaps allow a side to escape Do you notice attention somewhere in your body?
Maybe your hands or face forehead or jaw Pay attention to it and let it go Loosen it up.
The transformation happens through awareness acceptance and compassion You're doing a very important work here You're being the space in which things unfold as they need to It's all just mixture of different sensations in the body It's all just energy It's the mind that comes in contact with the body It's the mind that comes in after the sensation happens and labels it good or bad But that's just the construct of the mind Your sensations are safe Your body is doing its work Generates and processes energy So now again,
Let's just return your attention to a place in your body You can choose a comfortable sensation and stay with that or focus on your breath and the brief moment of nothingness that follows every inhale and Exhale the space between one and the other How does it feel to be?
Can you give up searching for who you are according to your mind's idea of yourself?
Because you are already who you are you don't have to find yourself Because you have not lost yourself You are the observer of what happens Noticing the shifts in your energy the ever-changing stream of thought You're unique and beautiful as you are No matter your life situation The pain you feel your feelings what happened to you what you did or didn't do You have the power to come to your body and hear it out It will tell you a story about yourself.
Nobody else can You can't find yourself out there Do gently drop expectations judgments and control Replace it with curiosity show up with compassion acceptance and love And as your body and mind are allowed to express and tell its story You will grow deeper and deeper into the power within yourself Because there is a space in you that's untouchable by anyone and anything That's where the voice that seeks peace comes from You might have searched for peace everywhere,
But it is coming from you So it is in you to be rediscovered It's not lost.
It just speaks very faintly Until you bring attention to it,
Then it will be your greatest and loudest guide As the peaceful loving peace Inside as the peaceful loving place the space I call home So can you give up searching?
