This meditation was born from two wells of wisdom I return to again and again.
The transformational teachings of David Baer,
Particularly around the nature of our states.
And the powerful and the primal mind,
And the ancient Vedic texts which have long understood the body not to be a problem.
That is to be solved,
But as a living expression of divine intelligence.
It is my offering to you.
A doorway back to trust.
Before we begin,
I want to invite you into a sacred mantra from the Vedic tradition.
Devahntari is the divine physician of Ayurveda,
The deity of healing.
And the one who carries the nectar of life.
Chanting or meditating on this mantra.
Is said to activate what I like to call our inner pharmacy.
The body's own innate capacity to heal,
Regenerate,
And restore itself to wholeness.
Modern science is beginning to confirm what the Vedic sages knew thousands of years ago.
That the body produces its own healing compounds that our thoughts and beliefs directly influence our physiology.
And that trust,
Real and body trust.
Is one of the most powerful medicines available to us.
This mantra is an invocation,
A reminder,
And a homecoming.
Om Namo Bhagavate.
Vasudevaya Devantri Amrita Kalasha Hasteya Sarva Amya Vinashanaya.
Trinokya Nathaya Sri Maha Namah Aum.
.
.
.
I bow to the Divine Physician.
Devantri,
Who holds the vessel of immortal nectar in his hands,
Who destroys all disease,
Who is the lord of the three worlds,
I bow to the great Vishnu.
Take a moment to let those words land in your body.
Feel them even if you don't fully understand them.
The body understands vibration long before the mind catches up.
I am Jordan Keehan,
And I want to welcome you to this journey of healing and self-connection.
Today we'll explore the deep wisdom of your body and how it always,
Always is working for you.
This is an opportunity for you to step into a loving,
Trusting relationship with your body.
To embrace its incredible intelligence and to honor the healing that is already taking place within you right now.
So let's take a deep breath in together.
Through your nose.
And exhaling out your mouth.
Feel your body relax into the moment.
If it feels comfortable,
Gently close your eyes,
Allowing yourself to fully settle into this experience.
Let your body soften.
You were exactly where.
You need to be.
As you listen,
There is no need to focus on anything but the words guiding you.
Your body is a miracle of life.
Constantly working for you,
Even in ways you might not notice.
Every day.
It's allowing you to experience the world through your senses,
Whether it's sight,
Sound,
Touch,
Sensation,
Your brain,
Your nervous system,
Your organs.
Intricate,
Inconnected,
And brilliant.
Working in perfect harmony to support your well-being.
So take a moment to acknowledge that.
The complexity and brilliance of your body.
From the smallest cell to the largest muscle.
Everything working together to keep you alive and thriving.
Set an intention now.
To embrace your body.
With love,
With appreciation.
And with trust.
Now scanning your body,
Slowly shift your awareness inward.
Notice sensations from the top of your head down to your toes.
Notice the areas that feel good and at ease.
Or even just neutral.
There may be places where you feel tension or discomfort.
And that's okay.
For now,
Just let your attention rest on what feels right.
Your breath,
Your heartbeat.
The gentle weight of your body.
Allowing the feeling of well-being.
No matter how small.
To expand.
With every breath.
A feeling of calm and balance,
Move into every corner of your body.
As though you're sending a signal of peace and harmony to each part of yourself.
This awareness of what is working well begins to shift.
Begins to shift something.
We move from seeing the body as broken.
To recognizing its incredible innate ability to heal and restore balance.
When we experience pain or discomfort,
It is natural to believe something is wrong.
That these sensations are problems we need to fix.
But what if they weren't?
What if these sensations are actually signs that your body is healing?
Say this with me now.
What is coming.
Is going.
In other words,
The discomfort you're feeling is part of a release.
Your body's way of letting go of what is no longer.
Need it.
There is no need to judge these sensations as bad or wrong.
Simply observe them.
Knowing they are part of a natural process.
Your body's intelligence working for you.
What's coming,
Whether it's physical pain,
Tension,
Or emotional stress,
Is leaving.
Your body is always moving towards balance.
And these sensations are simply the way it releases what has accumulated.
Sometimes we resist discomfort.
And we fear it.
We avoid it,
But what if instead we saw these sensations as part of our body's healing process?
If you knew without a doubt that this discomfort was part of your healing.
Would you move more freely?
Would you be willing to exercise to engage in life fully?
Knowing your body is working for you and not against you.
By accepting this,
You remove resistance.
You stop labeling these experiences as problems.
And you allow the process of healing to unfold as it's meant to.
Imagine now that each sensation of discomfort is simply energy being released with every breath.
Picture this energy gently lifting and dissolving.
Leaving your body lighter.
Clear.
More at peace.
There is no need to control or resist.
Just allow the body to do what it knows how to do best.
The Vedic tradition has always understood what science is now confirming.
That within you,
There is a pharmacy more sophisticated than anything we could ever manufacture.
Your body produces its own healing compounds,
Its own anti-inflammatories,
Its own pain relief,
Its own peace.
And it does this in response to your thoughts,
Your beliefs,
And the state you're living in.
Your body has been with you since the moment you entered this world.
Tirelessly supporting you,
Adapting.
Healing in ways we often overlook.
Trillions of cells communicating,
Regenerating,
Keeping you alive every second.
Without any conscious effort on your part.
Your heart beats,
Your lungs fill with air,
Your system moves in perfect unison like a symphony.
Each one essential,
Each one in harmony.
Take a moment to marvel.
This is your body.
It's not separate from you.
It's not your enemy.
Why would your body,
Which is constantly working for your survival,
Ever want to create harm?
Fear creates tension and tension makes it harder for the body to heal.
So instead of seeing discomfort as an enemy,
We begin to see it as a part of the process.
The symptoms are not enemies.
They are messengers.
Think of a great oat tree.
It doesn't fear its branches.
As they stretch towards the sky.
Doesn't fear its roots as they dig deep into the earth.
It trusts the process of growth.
It knows,
Innately.
Every part of it is working together to ensure its strength and survival.
You are that oak.
Rooted in wisdom.
Naturally attuned to growth and balance.
Your body knows what it needs to do.
It doesn't need to be feared or controlled.
It simply needs space to do what it knows best.
So close your eyes.
And imagine yourself.
Waking up in the morning feeling vibrant and full of energy.
Strong.
Light connected to life.
Imagine.
Walking through your day.
With the same energy.
Your body moving with ease,
Your mind clear and focused.
In harmony with your body.
Working with it instead of resisting it.
I want you to understand something.
That version of you already exists.
It's not something far off in the distance.
The vibrant,
Healthy version of you is a reality within you right now.
All you need to do is align with it.
By imagining and embodying the healthiest version of yourself.
You are directing your energy towards healing.
Towards wellness.
You don't have to wait for some distant future to feel good in your body.
That future exists now.
Waiting for you to step into it.
Each decision to love,
Trust,
Care for your body brings you closer to that self.
So take a deep breath in.
And exhale.
Releasing any lingering tension or heaviness.
Let's take a moment now to thank your body,
To speak to it.
Repeat these words silently or aloud.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
These words are not just words,
They are transmission.
Your body hears every thought,
Every emotion.
By offering it love and appreciation.
You are supporting it to heal,
To balance,
And to experience health.
In this final moment together,
Notice how your body feels now.
Take one last deep breath in and exhale.
Feel yourself rooted in the present.
Connected to your body.
And at peace with the process of healing.
Remember,
Healing is not something you need to chase.
It is already happening within you.
Whenever you are ready.
You can gently bring your awareness back to the room.
You may open your eyes.
Slowly feeling refreshed,
Connected.
And align with the wisdom of your body.
Trust that your body.
.
.
Knows how to heal,
And that with patience,
Love,
And alignment,
You will always move towards greater health,
Balance,
And peace.
