Welcome!
I'm Jocelyn.
I just thought I'd jump on here and give you some of the ways that I arrive in my body to my day,
Or to do a soul art journey,
Or to meet a client in a session,
Or to even go out and meet friends.
I do a lot of different practices at different times to clear my body,
Clear my energy,
And arrive in my presence.
And I want to say it like this because you don't have to have the same routine every day.
For a long time I felt like I had to have the same routine to clear and cleanse and arrive in my body.
And that can be hard for some people.
Some people really like to have that routine.
And then there's other people that need to keep it fresh for themselves.
And I'm really one of those people who feels into what my body needs in the moment.
So I have a lot of different practices that I do to arrive present here in my body,
To clear my energy,
And to be present.
And I wanted to come on now because I just finished arriving.
And I thought to myself while I was doing it,
Wow this is so different than the day before.
And sometimes it's nice to know that it's okay not to have the same exact routine every day.
And it's okay to listen to your body and what your body needs.
So for example,
Some days I want a warm bath in the morning.
But today I did a cold shower and it felt so right.
So I thought I'd just go through some of the ways that I use or practices that I use to become present.
And maybe some of them will resonate with you and you'll want to try some out.
Maybe try a different one out each day.
Or maybe just sit for a second in your body.
Bring your awareness in and go,
What do I need?
What do I need to arrive?
To be present?
To feel things?
To bring my sensations up?
To be sensitive to my body?
What do I need today?
So for instance,
Today I did a longer routine.
I decided I wanted to have a cold shower.
And I did a cold shower for about six minutes.
I put the water on really cold.
And I did some deep breathing while I was in that cold shower.
After that,
I got out and I did a little bit of lymphatic drainage on my face.
I worked my vagus nerve a little bit.
I let out my voice.
I also jumped on my rebounder for about ten minutes.
And I did a little bit of tapping,
Like Qigong tapping with my palms,
But leaving space in my palms.
So not flat tapping,
But allowing space in my palm as I tapped down my body.
And that's how I arrived today.
And I feel so clear.
It was like exactly what my body was asking for.
Some days I take a warm bath.
And when I'm in that bath,
And of course,
I'll put maybe magnesium flakes or essential oils in that bath.
And while I'm in that bath,
I might just clear.
I might go in and just take a look at the snapshot of everything that's going on in my body,
In my mind,
In my heart.
And anything that's not mine,
I clear with conscious awareness.
I might say,
Go now.
Right?
I might imagine or use visualization to sweep it out of my mind or close the drawers of what's open in my mind or my heart.
Knowing that they're there,
But I don't necessarily need them.
I might even claim anything that's not in my highest and greatest good.
Go now.
Even the word clear in and of itself is just a beautiful practice.
So I might do that one day in the bath.
Another day,
I might go into the shower,
Into a warmer shower,
And sit in the shower with my arms up and just feel the water coming down over me from the showerhead.
I might bless that water.
And I might bring my higher self to bless that water or work with an ascended master and really feel the water coming down,
Cleansing,
Clearing all of the energy inside and around me,
And then eventually filling me up with healing,
Filling me up with light,
Filling me up and quenching my needs in that moment.
Oftentimes,
When I come out of a shower or a bath,
I will use essential oils and I will allow myself to choose the essential oils depending on how I feel.
Some days I use chakra oils.
And some days I use all of the chakra oils.
Some days I only use one or two or three.
Some days I don't take a bath or a shower and I simply sit in my space and in the quiet and meditate.
There are days when I want to become present and I want to arrive in my body and my body is asking to stretch.
It's asking for the flexibility to breathe deep into stretches.
And on those days,
I might start on the floor and I might feel into the backs of my legs or into my hips and breathe and allow my body and my breath to release in the areas where I feel really stiff.
And there's still other ways that I arrive.
Sometimes the way I arrive is picking out a tea that I really want,
Or maybe even a coffee.
And I make that tea with consciousness.
And my way to arrive is to just sit and enjoy that tea.
Other days it's being conscious with a mango and opening up that mango and eating it and feeling it and tasting it and allowing myself to truly enjoy that mango.
Some days when I wake up and I want to arrive,
I do a little bit of breathing.
The physiological sigh is my favorite.
Two gentle sips in through the nose and then opening your mouth and sighing out.
And that sounds like.
.
.
And just a few rounds of that can bring me into presence so I can arrive in my body for the day.
And there are days when I don't want to be physical at all.
And in those days I might pick up my journal and I just might write.
I might stream of consciousness or free-form write just to get out of my body whatever's in there lingering.
That I don't want lingering.
And the same goes for doodling or sketching.
A lot of times part of my arrival is being really conscious in making a really big glass of water with lemon in it.
Blessing it with my higher self and then drinking it consciously.
And then there are the days when I want to arrive and be present but I see my youngest daughter in bed and I just I feel the need to go and lay with her.
And I watch her breathe.
I watch her gentle breathing as a young child.
In and out so natural and just by being there with her breath she slows my breath down.
And when I'm done and I leave she's most likely still asleep.
I feel present and I've arrived in the moment.
There are so many different ways to arrive at our day.
To arrive in the present moment.
And when you are working with people if you're guiding or doing sessions with people it may feel like you also need to arrive in your environment.
So that might be something that comes into it.
I have a 528 frequency tuning fork in my space when I have people come I hit that tuning fork and I swing it around my space and it clears the space as well as my energy.
Or I might burn some palo santo or I might smudge my area.
Sometimes arriving in my environment is putting out a pitcher of lemon water.
Is baking something special for those people who are working with me to eat during their session with me.
So there are so many different ways that we arrive.
That we come to presence in our body with our energy.
Where we let go of anything that's holding on that's not in our highest and greatest good.
Sometimes I even just shake it out.
I'll just shake out my body.
I'll use some qigong exercises or I'll even go back towards moving my body parts with music.
Like I'll feel a song.
Sometimes I'll be getting ready for a session and I'll feel a song in me and I'll put that music on really loud and maybe I'll sing or maybe I'll dance or maybe I'll just let my body express.
Because whatever is building inside me I don't want to bring that necessarily to the session that I'm working with someone or to my day.
Maybe it's something that kind of built up over the night and I want to let it out and release it.
So by moving,
By singing,
By dancing,
By writing,
By bathing,
By showering,
By using oils,
Bombs,
Whatever it is,
Drinking tea,
I am coming to presence clear,
Unfettered,
Aware with myself,
With my family,
With the people that I'm working with.
So I just put this out there because for a long time I tried to make it a daily routine.
And the problem with a daily routine for me,
And it's not for everybody,
But the problem with a daily routine for me is that sometimes I get bored and sometimes my body rails against it.
It's like,
No you don't want a warm bath today,
You want a cold shower.
That's what you want.
And if I stick to my routine I'm not listening to my body,
I'm not hearing what my body is asking for.
And when my body is asking for something to be cleared or a certain way to clear,
A certain way to arrive,
A certain way to be present,
When I listen to that,
Then I get to experience a true presence,
A true arrival.
So I decided to record this today as I was arriving for my day today and I just got inspired because we hear so many things from people in different places but we are all unique beautiful human beings and our bodies speak to us and they tell us what they need.
Our bodies tell us what they need.
And so these are just some ideas that you can play with and there's a ton more.
There's so many ways to arrive,
To find presence,
To clear.
But I just thought I would share this so I hope this is helpful to you.
Again I'm Jocelyn.
If you don't follow me please do.
I have a bunch of different tracks for inspirations,
Soul art inspirations,
Yoga nidras,
Guided meditations.
I have courses in automatic writing,
Creative writing,

Intention setting and grief.
And I run live events all the time so maybe I'll see you there one day.
And I hope that you have a beautiful day.
Namaste.
