Hello,
My name is Jessica.
And this is a morning meditation for bringing in what you would like to cultivate this year.
Begin by paying attention to how you are breathing.
Just feeling the natural breath in the body,
Feeling how the body is expanding as you breathe in,
And becoming smaller as you exhale and breathe out.
Feel your seat on the ground or on the chair.
Or even if you're laying down,
Feel your body being supported and held by gravity.
Bringing in with intention,
More kind and loving language.
Cultivating that desire to express your natural kindness through the choice of using loving language.
Having some faith that your natural ability to express yourself in a way that is kind and loving will come through when you hold that intention in your mind and your heart each day.
And remind yourself that this is your priority.
To bring in more kind and loving language.
Healthy boundaries.
Healthy boundaries are flexible.
They are not rigid.
They are not walls.
They are different depending on circumstances,
The people that you're dealing with,
And what you need for yourself.
At that moment,
On that day,
Healthy boundaries are an experiment in setting limits with other people,
And then staying open and aware of how effective that was,
And how it is affecting your relationships.
Cultivating healthy boundaries,
Paying attention to your thoughts,
And being aware of the desire to bring in more healthy thoughts.
So that the environment of your thoughts,
Your thought garden,
Is blooming and thriving with healthy thoughts.
So that as you're monitoring your thoughts,
You can look at those negative thoughts,
The damaging thoughts that might be causing harm in some way,
And choose to weed them out.
Not in a way that would be causing harm or judgmental,
But in a way that allows more room for your healthy thought life to grow and flourish.
Cultivating healthy thoughts.
Self-care.
Incorporating self-care is so fundamentally important.
And so not understood in our modern culture.
The phrase self-care has become somewhat of a pat answer.
How is your self-care?
Yet,
Actually doing the actions of self-care are what will bring you back into a state of balance.
And self-care needs to remain a priority for you,
In order for that to happen in your life.
What you might find is you forget to do your self-care,
Which is why this tool of Insight Timer is so invaluable,
As it will send you reminders to practice.
And you can choose favorite teachers.
And you can listen to their guidance again and again.
And self-care will look different depending on who you are.
Self-care always involves what you want,
Though.
So if you like baths,
You'll take baths.
If you don't,
You won't.
There's no wrong answer.
The important part,
The part that will change your life,
Is that self-care is top of mind for you.
And you'll know the things that you can do that will help you to feel better.
And you'll start to feel better more and more quickly.
The more you practice self-care,
The better you get at self-care.
And the more you will want to practice self-care,
And the better you'll feel.
It creates a positive feedback loop.
And then finally,
Abundance.
Abundance is a huge word.
And it means different things to different people.
Some people really focus on money,
They want money.
There's nothing wrong with wanting money,
And seeing that as abundance.
However,
Financial abundance is just one thing.
Abundance could also mean having time for yourself and your loved ones.
It could mean experiencing excellent health,
Or having choices on how you spend your life.
And abundant life creates a sense of freedom in all areas.
As your basic needs are cared for,
And you move into self-actualization,
Meaning you choose how you will live your life.
And your choices create better manifestation of those goals.
As you find clarity,
Which is what bringing in and welcoming in the qualities that you want in your life will bring you.
You practice clarity when you repeat these ideas to yourself on a daily basis.
So may everyone everywhere find that they have more kind and loving language,
Both given to them and coming from them.
While they work on their healthy boundaries,
And cultivate a healthy thought life,
Which will develop through self-care,
And finally create more and more abundance.
May everyone everywhere be well in body,
Mind,
And spirit.
