Hello,
Welcome to this meditation called Seeing Your Life from a Higher Perspective.
When you're ready to begin with me,
Find your preferred position to meditate in.
Doesn't have to look any certain way,
You just need to be comfortable.
Making sure any notifications are turned off,
And that you have some quiet space,
And then when you're ready,
Closing your eyes softly and gently.
Start by being present with your physical body.
Noticing how you feel as you start this meditation.
If anything feels uncomfortable to you,
Feel free to shift,
Maybe find an easier,
More comfortable place to meditate.
And then we're going to be present with our mind.
If you're feeling scattered,
Or the mind is just wandering or chattering about,
No judgment of it,
Just be present with it,
Noticing.
Let's breathe into our whole being.
Take a long,
Deep,
Slow inhale right through your nose,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale.
And then as you exhale,
Breathing out and just being with you as you breathe out.
Breathing in again and being present with your breath,
And then breathing out through your nose and still being present with your breath.
You might find that easy,
Maybe not so much.
Let's keep practicing for a few more.
Breathing in,
Filling with oxygen,
And just being with you,
Your being,
Physically,
Mentally.
And then breathing out and noticing how that feels within you.
Let's do a few more.
We're going to breathe in and fill up,
Fill up with oxygen,
And then breathe out.
And maybe you're starting to feel a little relaxed as you exhale.
Inhaling,
Noticing,
Physically,
Mentally,
How you feel,
And then exhaling,
And maybe more and more tensions releasing with your exhales.
Let's do one more.
Inhale,
And then exhale.
All right,
Just continue to breathe,
But breathe naturally.
And if you have any times during our meditation where your mind starts to wander,
Maybe you're feeling physically uncomfortable,
Maybe you just use that time to breathe naturally with a tuning into that breath.
Sometimes when we focus on the breath,
It helps us to focus the mind.
So let's play with our visualization.
I invite you to see the color blue.
And there are so many hues of blue.
Any hue of blue is perfect.
Blue is the color of our throat chakra,
And it's the key to our communication.
So I'm inviting you to see the color of blue,
Whatever hue you choose,
And see it close to your throat chakra.
See that blue clearing away any communication blockages that you may be feeling.
And maybe you don't even know you're feeling them.
Maybe just visualize that blue washing away anything that's maybe not serving you in this moment.
And then as you continue to breathe,
I'm going to invite you to breathe deeply now through that heart chakra.
Now,
I know the lungs aren't in the throat,
So we're just going to visualize this oxygen filling up the throat chakra.
Fill it up.
And as you exhale,
You might even feel the heat of the throat chakra start to dissipate and just go out and leave.
So let's do that again,
Breathing in into that throat chakra and still seeing that color of blue.
And then exhaling,
Exhaling whatever you feel you need to let go of communication-wise.
Maybe it's miscommunications or dishonesty or challenging topics.
Let's continue.
Inhale,
Filling up with oxygen with a focus on that throat chakra in the color of blue.
Maybe you see that blue start to expand now.
And then exhaling and feeling anything go away that's not in support of your life and your higher purpose.
Now,
Back to that natural breath.
We're clearing and balancing the energies that are needed in order to feel new hope and opportunity.
Perhaps to discover more of your life from a higher perspective.
Now just notice how you feel after a little bit of breath work,
A little color brightening up that throat chakra.
And we're going to relax further into this meditation and look deeper into our life from a higher perspective.
So what do you think of when you feel someone ask you about your life purpose?
Sometimes people get defensive and annoyed.
Other times people are so excited they want to just babble on about it.
There's no right or wrong answer to this.
There's no judgments.
Just notice what comes up.
Maybe you already know what your mission in life is.
Maybe it's something you're still exploring.
Maybe it's something that's continually evolving and changing.
Whatever the case,
Take a few moments of silence to reflect.
Where do you feel your higher purpose is in this life?
There's no right or wrong answers.
We're just merely reflecting,
Seeing what comes up in the moment.
Are there any actions or steps you take every day toward your higher purpose or mission in life?
Goals?
And they don't always have to be career oriented,
They could be anything.
I personally believe we're all here for a higher purpose.
And some of us are already doing our higher purpose,
Some of us are still exploring it.
Some of us work very quietly while doing our higher purpose work,
Some on a smaller scale.
And then those people such as Mother Teresa and other humanitarians that do it so much on a giant scale.
But know this,
Everyone makes a difference no matter how big or how small.
Now let's breathe that blue light from the throat chakra and let's allow it to travel to our heart center,
Connecting our communication with our heart center in order to motivate ourselves to speak with love,
Honesty,
Compassion in all the areas of our lives.
See that blue light,
It's connecting the throat and the heart chakras.
It's connecting us more to our higher purpose.
It's connecting us with others through our heart,
Our words,
Our inspiration.
Holding that breath and that light that's now traveled from the throat to the heart,
Connecting them.
We're going to move to another form of visualization.
This is a fun one.
I hope you're open to it.
All right,
I want you to see a dragon.
Yep,
Seriously,
See a dragon in your mind.
See it as an air dragon so it can fly.
Be creative here,
Create a dragon,
Have fun with it.
But remember,
It's a peaceful,
Happy,
Helpful dragon.
Notice your dragon's features.
Maybe ask for its name.
I'm going to give you a few moments to create this dragon in your mind.
So now ask your dragon if it can fly you to your chosen destiny.
And now I want you to see yourself holding onto the dragon,
Flying.
You're smiling,
You are traveling to your chosen destiny.
And in flight,
You are realizing the reality of seeing your life from a higher perspective.
Really feel free to delve into this.
What does it feel like to be flying on a dragon to a place you're so excited to see?
Where does the dragon bring you?
And when you and the dragon arrive,
Where are you?
What do you see?
What do you feel?
Truly envelop yourself in this experience.
This is your chosen destiny.
Yes,
Wow,
Your chosen destiny.
Take some time in silence to play with this,
See what comes.
Ask your dragon questions about your higher purpose.
Why the dragon brought you there?
Play,
Discover.
Take a few more moments here just to see what else comes.
And then when you feel complete and ready to return,
Be sure to thank your dragon for the support.
And then travel with your dragon back to your current time and space.
And as you travel,
Continue to see your life from that higher perspective,
Even as you return from your flight.
And then when you land,
Thank the dragon once more.
And then the dragon returns to where it came.
Let's take a few focused,
Deep inhales and exhales,
Nourishing ourselves with that prana,
That life force,
Especially after seeing our life from a higher perspective.
Inhaling through the nose,
And exhaling through the nose.
Inhale,
Inhale,
And exhale.
And once more,
A very deep,
Long inhale,
And then exhaling.
And then when you're ready to go back out into your day,
I invite you to do so knowing that your life has a higher purpose.
And whenever you feel like you're not connected to it,
Go back to your breath.
Go back to connecting the throat and the heart chakras through that blue light.
Maybe ask that dragon to come on back and remind you.
Slowly bring some movement to your body,
Being present with yourself physically and mentally.
And slowly opening your eyes when you feel ready.
Thank you so much for joining me for this Seeing Your Life from a Higher Perspective meditation.
Namaste.
