Thank you for joining me today.

Find a quiet space and let's settle in.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Notice where your body moves as you breathe in and feel the tension slip away as you slowly breathe out.

Let's breathe in for a count of four.

In two,

Three,

Four,

And out for six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

Again two,

Three,

Four,

Four,

Out,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Allow your breath to resume to normal,

Whatever is comfortable for you.

Keep breathing slowly and intentionally and when it feels right,

If you haven't already,

Close your eyes.

Allow your facial muscles to relax,

Soften your forehead,

Your eyes,

Release any tightness in your mouth and jaw while you continue to breathe.

Imagine a tree full of beautiful leaves.

These leaves represent your thoughts.

When a thought comes up,

Acknowledge it and allow it to float along with the wind,

A gentle breeze carrying it away as you come back to your breath.

Observe and notice your breath,

Allowing thoughts to fall and float away.

Feel where your body meets the surface that you're on.

Continuing to breathe,

Imagine you are this tree,

Strong and rooted.

You are rooted to the earth while your trunk stretches to the sky.

Allow yourself to be grounded and still.

While you continue to breathe,

I invite you to receive these affirmations.

I am grounded.

I embrace stillness.

My breath is my anchor.

I embrace stillness.

My breath is my anchor.

Allow these affirmations to soak in.

Repeat them again if you'd like to yourself or out loud.

Start to bring some movement back to your body and your neck as you come back into your space.

When it feels right for you,

Open your eyes and take in the calm that you have created.

Thank you for joining me today.

Take this peacefulness with you throughout your day.

Namaste.
