This mediation has been created for school children. We all know that the school environment can be very stressful for children. Together, we will learn how to release stress and that worrying about something that happened in the past doesn't help us in any way. We will be focusing on whatever we would like to create. I hope your children will enjoy this meditation.

Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down,

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths in and out to relax.

Begin by thinking about your day at school,

Remember the moments that made you happy like spending time with your friends or playing,

Maybe learning something new.

Take a moment to smile as you think about these moments.

Now think about any challenging moments you had like a subject that was difficult or a situation that made you feel upset.

Remember it's okay to have tough moments,

Everyone has them.

Take a deep breath and imagine that you are holding those challenging moments in a bubble.

Watch the bubble slowly float away from you,

As it drifts farther and farther,

Feel the weight of those challenges lifting from your shoulders.

Remember it's important not to be too hard on yourself.

Mistakes are a part of learning and growing.

Just like a caterpillar turns into a butterfly,

You can transform and improve too.

If there was something at school that you didn't understand or do well in,

That's okay,

You can always ask a friend or a parent for help.

You're not alone on this journey,

There are people who care about you and who want to support you.

Now take a moment to think about the things you are grateful for,

Like your family,

Friends and all the opportunities you have.

Gratitude can help you focus on the positive aspects of your life.

Now let's focus on the present moment.

Take a few more deep breaths and let go of any worries about what happened today.

Remember that the past is in the past and you can't change it,

So there is no point worrying about it.

Visualize bright and positive future.

Picture yourself succeeding,

Learning and growing with each new day.

You have the power to create a better tomorrow.

Now we will return to the present moment.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Slowly open your eyes and take one more deep breath and know that you are strong,

Capable and loved.

I hope you enjoyed this meditation and see you next time.
