Welcome to day 2 of our Sound and Self-Love journey.

Today we explore the gift of our voice,

The sacred instrument that lives within you,

Waiting to be honoured and expressed freely.

Find a comfortable standing position,

Feel your feet connected to the earth beneath you.

Take a moment to arrive fully here in this space of vocal discovery.

Set your intention now.

I am open to the beauty and power of my authentic voice.

Let's begin by preparing our body for vocal expression.

Stand tall,

With your feet hip-width apart,

Feel the crown of your head reaching gently towards the sky.

Roll your shoulders back and down,

Releasing any tension you've been carrying,

And let them settle into a natural,

Relaxed position.

And now let yourself yawn.

Really let it happen.

Don't hold back.

Yummy!

Opens the throat and prepares your voice for freedom.

Beautiful!

Now slowly turn your head to the left,

To the right,

Feel the muscles in your neck releasing,

Creating space for your voice to flow.

And place your fingertips on your jaw muscles,

Just in front of your ears.

Gently massage in small circles.

Your jaw works so hard throughout the day,

Let it soften now.

Open your mouth wide and slowly close it.

Open wide again and close.

Feel the stretch.

Do this three more times,

Releasing any tension held in your jaw.

Playfully stick out your tongue and move it around.

Up and down,

Side to side.

Let your tongue dance freely.

There is no right or wrong way,

Just liberation.

And say with exaggerated articulation.

Really move those lips and tongue.

Let yourself be playful with these sounds.

And now place one hand on your chest,

One on your belly.

This is where your voice is born.

In the marriage of breath and intention.

Breathe in through your nose for four counts.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And exhale through your mouth for six counts.

Making a gentle pull.

Breathe slightly first.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Pull.

Exhale through your mouth for six counts.

Making a gentle pull sound.

Light lips slightly first.

Pull.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

And feel how your breath supports your voice.

Your breath is the foundation of every sound you make.

Let's do this two more times.

In through the nose and pull.

Now we'll awaken your voice gently.

Let's start with lips trills.

Like a horse.

Let your lips vibrate freely.

Don't worry about how it sounds.

This is about releasing tension and awakening sensation in your face.

Try different pitches.

Low,

Middle,

Higher.

Gentle sound to leave.

With a soft lip vibration.

And feel the tickling sensation in your face.

This is your voice coming alive.

And I want you to know,

If you want to practice any of these sounds more,

You can simply pause this practice.

Take your time.

And come back when you fully enjoy this.

Now you can close your mouth and hum.

Close sound.

Keep it gentle,

Like a contented sigh.

Feel where this sound resonates.

With your hand on your chest.

Do you feel vibration here?

Place your hand on your head.

Any vibration there?

Let's explore different pitches.

No wrong notes.

Your voice knows what it needs.

Just trust it.

And now we'll open from humming to vowels.

Start like this.

And slowly open to.

Your voice is like water flowing from clothes.

Let's explore the power of mantra.

The power of yam.

The sound of opening of the heart.

Just from.

Right from your chest.

For 8-10 seconds.

Don't strain.

Let it be natural.

And full.

And as you sound the yam,

Imagine green light in your heart center.

The sound opens,

Liberates,

Energizes.

Let's try.

Feel expansion in your chest,

In your entire being.

You can always close this breath.

For each area.

Explore the sound.

The sound of our solar plexus.

Of our personal power.

Visualize golden light in your solar plexus.

Just below your rib cage.

This is sound of your confidence.

Just feel the solar plexus area and sing with me.

Feel how your body is harmonizing.

Simply how your voice gently aligns your energy centers.

Allow yourself to sense this unity.

The healing power.

Your own voice flowing through you.

And now we speak lovingly and about your voice.

Sing or speak melodically.

Let the melody come naturally.

There is no wrong way.

My voice is unique and beautiful.

Don't judge how it sounds.

Listen with love.

As you look up to a dear friend sharing their heart.

I allow myself to sound freely.

My voice is my self-expression.

Through my voice I share my soul.

Say or think these words as if no one is listening because this moment is just for you and your voice.

My voice is strong and confident.

Feel the power and important sound in this world.

Your voice matters.

Let's express different emotions through sound.

Express joy,

Love.

Let happiness ring through your voice.

Just imagine,

Remember the most happy moments in your life and let this joy rise through your voice.

Our voice is a unique instrument.

And now sadness gentle sighs soft Let your voice hold tenderness.

Complete freedom.

Make any sounds that want to come through you.

Sighs,

Moans,

Melodic sounds,

Rhythms,

Whatever arises.

Don't think about beauty,

Just express.

Let your voice tell its story without words.

Trust what comes.

Let's return to the gentle humming.

Gradually make the sound softer and softer.

Place your hands gently on your throat.

Feel the vibration of your quieting voice.

Let the humming become whispers of and then fade into silence.

And set your intention to use your voice with love and honesty to honor this gift that lives within you.
