Hello.

Welcome to this inner child and higher self guided meditation.

Please find yourself in a comfortable position where you will not be disturbed and where you can allow yourself an opportunity to find some stillness within your presence.

You're welcome to keep your eyes closed or open.

You're welcome to remain seated or lying down,

Whatever is most comfortable for you.

In this process,

We will start to slowly and gently turn our attention inward from a place of non-judgment of our experiences and from a place of compassion,

Support,

And nurturance.

If at any time you feel distracted or uncomfortable,

Simply try to reconnect with your breath and return to the guidance when you can.

Lastly,

If emotions begin to surface,

Please know that this is okay and you're welcome to observe and try to allow your emotions again from a place of self compassion.

We're going to go on a journey in this meditation and we will be working with some aspects of yourself.

These are aspects that maybe you are familiar with or maybe not.

Either way is okay.

But we will be exploring the concept of your inner child and your higher self.

And through this process,

We will allow them the opportunity to meet and support each other with your current presence and awareness.

This is a special journey of healing and connection and you deserve this time.

So let's begin.

I'd like to ask that you start to focus your awareness on your breathing.

Just noticing.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Observing your inhalation and observing your exhalation.

Just following the natural rhythm of your breath.

Observing if there might be any areas of tension or restriction and observing if there's any areas that might be peaceful and comfortable and at ease.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Allowing yourself to relax just a little bit more than before.

As your awareness begins to deepen,

See if you can start to slow your breath down just a bit and see if you can allow yourself to deepen your breath.

Breathing now deep into your belly.

Placing a hand on your stomach if you feel comfortable.

And just noticing the rise and the fall of your belly as you breathe.

As you do this,

See if you can imagine breathing in a sense of peace and support.

See if you can breathe out any kind of tension.

With each breath cycle,

Allowing yourself to settle back into deeper relaxation and knowing that you're safe and supported.

Now begin to focus your awareness on your body.

Being aware of the space your body takes up.

Seeing the connection of your body to wherever you're seated upon or lying on.

Being aware of any subtle sensations like the air on your skin or the temperature.

And still just gently breathing in and out as you become more aware of your body.

Now notice if there might be any areas of tension in your body just as it is while not trying to judge it as good or bad.

Also noticing any areas of ease or relaxation.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And maybe even noticing any areas that feel completely neutral.

And breathing in and breathing out.

See if you can allow your breath now to help you relax your body even further.

Breathing the breath through the noted areas of tension or ease or neutrality.

And breathing deep into the body in a way that is comfortable,

Secure,

And soothing for you.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Slowing down and allowing a sense of peace to start flowing within your being.

As you continue to slow down knowing that you're fully connected to your breath and your body.

See if you can set aside any judgments or expectations or analysis at this time.

Following whatever previous concerns you've had to simply take a back seat for now.

Moving further along and being gently guided by your breath to a place of curiosity and compassion.

So we all have an inner child.

This is a part of our being and development and who we are.

And our inner child is an aspect of ourself that still remains.

Although we may be older and grown and more mature.

Our inner child had many different experiences that have led to who we are and what we believe and how we perceive the world at large.

Our inner child has always simply wanted nothing more but to explore and to be free and to feel love.

However,

Somewhere along the way in our development,

Our inner child may have been hurt in some way.

Perhaps we grew up in difficult home environments or perhaps we had other experiences with our peers or within our society that led us to believe something about our worth and our lovability.

These things could have been very strong or maybe they were very subtle.

But from these experiences,

We learned to think something about ourselves and what's right and what's wrong.

We likely did this as a way to cope.

So I'd like for you to take a moment to reflect on your inner child and maybe your own past experiences that have led to you questioning your own lovability or worth or power.

Maybe you can recall specific times where you were hurt,

But as a child,

You may not have really known how to make sense of it.

So I'd like for you to envision this child of you,

This inner child that still remains within you,

That still desires love and success and peace and curiosity and freedom.

And I'd like for you to imagine approaching your inner child,

This aspect of your previous self and sit down with them.

Take a moment to look into this child's eyes and take a moment to acknowledge what this child felt.

If you feel so inclined,

You're welcome to give this little child a hug.

And imagine as you do so,

Providing a sense of nurturance and support and encouragement to this little,

Beautiful being.

Whatever it has been through and whatever it has learned,

See if you can assure this little being that it's loved.

And taking a moment to say anything that you want to say and to offer whatever kind of support you wish to offer at this time.

And breathing in and breathing out.

Now take a moment to sort of close up your conversation with your inner child,

Knowing that you can return to this aspect of yourself and provide it nurturance anytime it needs.

But let's focus now on your higher self.

This is an aspect that we all have within us and this is the aspect of ourself that is healed,

That is radiating with pure love and support.

This is the aspect of ourself that has made it through all the trials and tribulations of development and growth,

Hurt and healing.

This is the aspect of yourself that is fully actualized to its truest potential.

And this is the aspect of yourself that actually loves you unconditionally,

Wants the best for you and is always there for you.

Imagine sitting down with this higher self of yours.

What do they look like?

How are they relating to you?

Do they have a certain kind of energy or vibe about them?

Imagine reaching out your hands to this higher self and receiving its support and comfort.

Take a moment to hold hands with this aspect of yourself.

Maybe even be hugged by it.

Now take a moment to ask this higher self whatever it is you'd like to ask.

Whatever it is that you need at this moment.

Simply ask your higher self for support knowing that it loves you and wants the best for you.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Imagine a sense of peace and gratitude and assurance and most of all feeling deeply supported.

Take a few moments longer to sit with this aspect of yourself and receive anything that you desire to receive at this moment.

Now with your higher self at your side,

I'd like to invite you to envision that both of you are now calling in your inner child to join them.

All three aspects of yourself,

Your inner child,

Your higher self,

And you as you are are joining together for the first time.

This beautiful cycle of life,

These aspects of yourself uniting.

And as you envision this,

Allow yourself to feel any sensations that might arise or any emotions to arise.

And witnessing you nurturing your own little child and loving yourself.

And this aspect of your higher self loving you and your inner child.

And envision all of you all just sitting there loving and supporting each other.

A team if you will.

Breathing in and breathing out.

What needs to be said and what needs to be heard.

What needs to be expressed and what needs to be felt.

Allow yourself at this moment to receive and to give.

Breathing in and breathing out.

So take a couple more moments to sit within this experience knowing that you can return to any of these aspects at any time.

Your higher self is always there for you and your inner child is always there for you waiting to be loved.

And you now get the opportunity to teach your inner child love.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And now slowly starting to bring your awareness back to this space and time and being present in your current level of awareness.

And allow yourself to again observe your breath,

Observe your body.

Noticing if any shifts may have taken place.

And in closing you're invited to place your hand on your heart.

And as you do this I'd like to invite you to work with breathing in a sense of peace and love and support and guidance.

At any time when you need nurturance and love for yourself you are able to connect to these aspects of your being,

Allowing and receiving.

So you're invited to sit in this space for a little while longer after my guidance ends.

Again connecting to whatever it is that you experienced during this meditation.

And when you're done see if you can connect to a sense of gratitude for connecting to these aspects of yourself,

Whether you have been aware of them or not.

And take your time and take some care for yourself as you enter your regular level of awareness.

Again always knowing that love and higher truth resides within you.

And as you do this I'd like to invite you to take a moment to take a moment to listen and engage with its You

I felt a smile on my face at the end as I was able to tell my inner child that I am loved and that I would always be there to support him. I felt happy when my higher self which I couldn't really focus on almost a literal being of light told me that I would be a happier and healthier person. Wonderful
