Hello,

And welcome back to session 9 of Stillness Speaks.

My name is Colleen,

And today's practice is called The Healing Path.

My own path to healing has been far from straight.

There have been seasons of breakthroughs,

And seasons of setbacks.

Times I felt strong,

And times I felt fragile.

But what I've learned is that healing isn't a destination.

It's an unfolding.

It asks for patience,

Openness,

And a willingness to trust the process.

Even when it's slow.

Even when it's difficult.

This meditation is an invitation to walk that path together.

To meet yourself right where you are,

And to trust that each step,

No matter how small,

Is part of your unfolding.

Let's begin.

Please find a comfortable place to land,

Allowing yourself to arrive wherever you are.

Close your eyes.

Drop your shoulders.

Relax your jaw.

Let your hands rest gently,

Releasing any grasp.

Soften your belly,

Allowing your breath to flow more freely.

Breathing in and out through your nose.

Imagine yourself standing at the start of a quiet path.

It winds gently ahead,

Lined with signs of growth.

Soft green leaves,

Small flowers breaking through the earth.

The sound of water somewhere in the distance.

This path has no rush,

No finish line.

It invites you to walk slowly.

To notice what's here.

To allow each step to be enough.

Bringing your awareness to your breath.

Still moving in and out through your nose.

No forcing,

No holding.

Just a steady,

Natural rhythm.

With each exhale,

Feel a little more rooted where you are.

On your next inhale,

Silently say to yourself,

I trust.

On your exhale,

Silently say,

The journey.

Again,

Inhale,

I trust.

Exhale,

The journey.

Once more on your own.

Let these words anchor you into a deeper sense of patience and faith in the process.

With each breath,

Imagine taking one slow step along this path.

Feel the earth steady beneath your feet.

Notice the air against your skin.

Each step is a choice to keep going,

To keep tending to yourself,

To keep believing in your body's wisdom.

If thoughts arise about the past or future,

Acknowledge them and return to your breath.

Inhaling,

I trust.

Exhaling,

The journey.

Here,

There is no rush.

Healing unfolds in its own time.

All you need to do is keep showing up,

Breath by breath,

Step by step.

My voice will be quiet for a little while.

Rest here in the stillness.

When you're ready,

Begin to bring your attention back to the space around you.

Notice the sounds around you,

The air on your skin.

Begin to move your fingers and toes.

Roll your shoulders.

Take a deep breath in and an even deeper breath out.

Gently open your eyes.

Healing is not a straight line.

It's a living,

Breathing journey.

Every step you take,

No matter how small,

Is part of your return to wholeness.

May you be well.

May you be happy.

May you trust the healing path you are on,

And may you walk it with patience,

Openness,

And self-compassion.
