Faith is a quiet resting place. In this meditation, you’re invited to explore faith as something lived and embodied - a soft trust that becomes available when effort eases, and the body no longer has to hold everything together. This is a practice of pausing, breathing, and allowing yourself to be supported exactly where you are. You don’t need answers. You don’t need certainty. You’re simply guided into stillness to notice what it feels like to rest, even in the unknown. As the breath settles and the nervous system softens, trust is no longer something to reach for - it becomes something you rest into. This meditation is part of the Flow to Wellness collection - a reflection of my own journey of healing, listening, and learning how to be well. Come as you are. May you rest here.

Hello,

And welcome to Faith,

Resting in Trust.

I am so grateful you're here.

This is an invitation to reconnect with yourself,

Not by doing,

But by listening.

Today we explore faith,

Not as something you have to believe in,

But as something you can rest into—a quiet trust,

A gentle allowing,

A sense that you are held,

Even when you don't have all the answers.

This meditation is part of my Flow to Wellness collection,

A reflection of my own journey of healing,

Listening,

And learning how to be well.

May this offering support you as you begin or continue your own Flow to Wellness.

Finding a comfortable place to land,

Seated or lying down,

Allowing your body to feel supported.

Take a moment to notice the surface beneath you,

The space around you.

Begin to breathe in and out through your nose,

Slow and steady.

Simply arriving here is enough for now.

Faith is often misunderstood as certainty,

Or confidence,

Or having things figured out.

But the body understands faith differently.

Faith is the ability to soften into what is,

To loosen the grip of control,

To rest in the sense that you don't have to carry everything alone.

Faith doesn't require answers.

It doesn't demand clarity.

Sometimes,

Faith is simply the willingness to pause,

To breathe,

And to trust that this moment is enough for now.

For a long time,

I thought faith meant knowing.

Knowing the next step.

Knowing the outcome.

Knowing that everything would work out.

But healing taught me something quieter.

Faith began to feel less like certainty,

And more like surrender.

Like allowing my body to rest when it was tired.

Like trusting that listening was more supportive than pushing.

Like believing,

Gently,

That I didn't have to understand everything in order to be supported.

Faith became the space where effort could soften,

And trust could take its place.

As we move into the meditation,

Take a moment to get even more comfortable.

Continuing to breathe in and out through the nose.

Closing your eyes,

Or softening your gaze.

Allowing the body to be at rest.

Allowing the breath to flow with ease.

Breathing in,

Receiving this moment.

Breathing out,

Softening the need to know what comes next.

No effort,

No forcing.

Just allowing yourself to arrive here,

In stillness.

You might imagine what it feels like to be gently supported,

Without needing to hold yourself up.

Perhaps there is a sense of leaning back,

Of being carried,

Of not having to brace.

Like floating effortlessly,

Or resting against something steady.

Or being held by a presence that doesn't ask anything of you.

Notice how the body responds when it doesn't have to stay alert,

Or prepared,

Or in control.

Faith lives here,

In this soft release,

In this quiet trust,

In this moment of allowing.

Now allow the body to rest here,

Not doing,

Not fixing,

Just being.

Notice where the body meets the surface beneath you.

The quiet sense of support,

The feeling of being held.

If the mind begins to wander,

That's okay.

Gently return your attention to the breath,

Again and again.

This returning is the practice.

If it feels supportive,

Gently remind yourself,

I don't have to know.

I don't have to figure this out.

I am allowed to rest in trust.

Let the words land,

And then fade.

Rest here for a little while,

In the simplicity of breathing,

Of being,

Of allowing.

Nothing needs to be solved.

Nothing needs to be decided.

You are already supported.

Resting in stillness.

Begin to notice the breath again.

The gentle rhythm of the inhale,

And the exhale.

Feel the subtle aliveness within the body.

A quiet steadiness.

A soft sense of ease.

When you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Taking in the space around you.

Faith is not something you force.

It is something you rest into.

May this moment of trust carry with you as you move through your day or night.

May you remember that you are supported,

Even in the not knowing,

As you continue on your very own flow to wellness.
