This short meditation was created with my neice in mind. She sometimes struggles with confidence. If she could see what we can see, she would be soaring. Today, I hope to help you see yourself and how awesome you are. Thank you for being here.

Welcome to this guided meditation.

My name is Eva Payne and today we're going to be focusing on confidence.

So let's take a few deep breaths in first and ground ourselves into our bodies in this present moment.

Big breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Good job again.

Again.

One more big breath.

Excellent.

I'm going to invite you to imagine that you're standing in front of a mirror.

Okay,

You're looking at yourself in the mirror.

Look into your eyes.

See those beautiful eyes.

Take a few deep breaths.

And I invite you in your mind to give yourself a compliment.

Imagine looking at yourself and saying something nice.

You are fantastic.

You're beautiful.

You're smart.

You're talented.

You're kind.

And what compliment do you give yourself?

Big deep breath in.

Now,

What if this mirror was magical and the you that you thought was just a reflection is actually a twin?

And that twin steps out of the mirror and is standing right in front of you.

Now allow that version of you to give you a compliment.

You are awesome.

I am so proud of you.

You are creative.

You are friendly.

You are courageous.

You are one of a kind.

And I love you so much.

Deep breath.

I'm going to invite you to give yourself a hug.

Take your right hand and put it on your heart.

And take your left hand and wrap it around your right shoulder.

Give yourself a big squeeze.

Thank yourself for showing up today.

For believing in yourself,

Even when you know it's hard.

If you need to take this practice and actually sit in front of a mirror and stare at yourself,

Then do it.

And don't let the bad voice,

That negative voice,

That ruminating voice that says all the mean things,

Tell that version of you.

To take a seat and take a breath.

Because today,

The confident you is showing up.

The you that knows that you have value.

I love you.

I appreciate you.

Thank you for being here,

My friend.

Very slowly,

Bring yourself back to the present moment.

Wiggle your fingers,

Your toes,

Flutter your eyes.

And look around.

What are you grateful for?

See if you can find three things that you are grateful for.

I am grateful for you.

Come back anytime.

Have a beautiful day,

My friends.

I'll talk to you soon.
