This is Alisa and welcome to this heartfelt yoga nidra practice to instill peace within the essence of you.

Experiencing peace is such a beautiful way to honor the body and the deep connection to your spirit.

When we can slow down and make space for stillness,

Allowing the body,

Mind,

And spirit to join in unison,

We pave the way for a revered space of deep,

Tranquil peace.

Through conscious breath and a willingness to surrender into the unknown territories within,

We open to a sanctuary free from the entanglements of all of our emotions,

Feelings and thoughts,

And expand into a spaciousness beyond our thinking mind.

We enfold into a heartfelt sense of what it really means to celebrate ourselves and provide it with the gift of inner peace.

This practice is an invitation for you to explore the deep-rooted layers of self in a safe and effortless way.

Think of it as a celebratory and celestial dance between all parts of you.

A journey of expansive awareness,

Deep rest,

And beautiful awakenings.

To encourage this soulful journey into the realms of peace,

I invite you now to prepare your space in whatever way necessary so that the body can feel completely nourished.

Make the space so inviting and comfortable that you feel completely supported and can remain still for the duration of the practice.

For an enhanced experience,

Consider using a few items.

A pillow can provide comfortable support for your head and neck,

While a warm blanket or covering is beneficial,

Especially as the body temperature tends to drop during deep relaxation.

If you prefer,

Placing an eye pillow over your eyes can create a soothing effect on the forehead and the muscles around the eyes.

For an extra touch,

Some individuals like to include an amethyst stone in their practice.

You can place it on your heart center,

In the palm of your hand,

Or on a nearby table.

Amethyst is renowned for its properties that instill peace,

Calmness,

And wisdom,

Adding an extra layer of serenity to your practice.

I will give you a few moments to get the items you need and settle into your yoga nidra nest.

Let the body dissolve.

Give yourself permission to rest.

Get quiet.

Be still.

Take a moment to appreciate the beauty and grace of your breath effortlessly weaving in and out of the nostrils.

Welcome each breath,

Unveiling the inner wisdom of your body,

Mind,

And soul.

Observe the chest's gentle rise and fall,

Mirroring the ebb and flow of the ocean's tide,

Where the gentle rise resembles the incoming tide,

And the fall represents receding water.

Now,

Can you bring your awareness to the temperature of the air gently flowing in and out of the nostrils.

Picture it as a reflection of the changing seasons.

The inhalation resembles a warm,

Comforting breeze on a sunny day,

While the exhalation mirrors the refreshing coolness of an autumn breeze.

Let the breath continue its effortless flow while shifting your focus to your entire body at rest in its inherent state.

With each natural breath,

Feel the body being pulled by gravity of the earth,

Creating a space to deeply rest and feel supported.

Notice how it feels when you soften the eyelids and muscles around the temples and jawline.

Breathe into the spaces of tension around the head and neck,

Letting them rest into the support you have provided.

Allow all the muscles of the shoulders,

Arms,

Back,

Legs,

And feet to gently suspend like a hammock cradling your entire body.

Feel the weightlessness as tension melts away,

Creating a sensation of floating.

As the body continues to settle into stillness,

Observe any lingering thoughts or emotions surfacing.

Embrace them without resistance.

Let them just be as they are,

No need to push them away.

Rather,

Give them the space to express themselves in any form needed.

Give your body permission to illuminate the shadows of darkness greeting them,

Just as you would a dear friend with a loving embrace.

Invite in a heartfelt offering of surrender,

Trusting your body to enter into a deep state of profound inner peace.

As the body begins to unfold into a deeper realm of awareness,

Can you imagine a luminous golden light delicately tracing the contours of your form,

Creating a sacred cocoon that cradles you in boundless peace.

Allow your breath to gently flow along as you slowly start to travel from the crown of the head.

Let this radiant glow descend along the right side,

Head,

Neck,

Shoulder,

Outer arm,

Around the right hand,

Ascending up the inner arm to the armpit,

Down the right side of the torso,

Hip,

Outer right leg,

Encircling the foot,

Ascending the inner right thigh,

Embracing the pelvic area.

Continue the gentle journey down the left inner thigh,

Around the foot,

Up the outer left leg,

Hip,

Left side of the torso to the armpit,

Ascending down the inner left arm,

Around the left hand,

Up the outside of the arm,

Left shoulder,

Side of the neck,

And complete the circuit by returning to the crown of the head with this radiant golden bubble.

Every facet of your being is immersed in a tranquil billowy embrace,

The whole body completely surrounded and protected as you bathe in this radiance of inner peace.

Inhale deeply,

And on the exhale,

Allow any thoughts or emotions that no longer serve you to melt away.

Envision them dissolving into the golden light that surrounds and protects you.

With each breath,

Feel your entire body becoming lighter and lighter and more serene.

In the embrace of this tranquil cocoon,

Summon your soul's voice and allow it to resonate through you.

Welcome now your sankalpa intention,

The sacred words emerging from your heart center.

Repeat them like a mantra,

Affirming them three times with deep reverence for your highest self.

With each repetition,

Let your body drink in the nectar of peace emanating from the heart center as though it is being bathed in the sacred waters of deepest knowing.

If you find yourself without a specific intention,

Consider I am cultivating peace within the sanctuary of my body.

Also give yourself permission to dwell in a space of serene silence where images or colors may naturally emerge.

Repeat your sankalpa three times now.

With deep reverence and self-love,

You will now journey through a rotation of consciousness.

As my voice guides you,

Envisioning a golden star dripping with soothing embers of peace.

Allow your imagination to roam freely and observe what unfolds,

Can you imagine yourself immersed in the tranquility of a cliffside vista,

Where you're perched on a bench,

Glancing over the expansive ocean,

The waves below weave a soothing melody,

While the setting sun paints the sky in warm hues of gold,

Orange and pink,

As you take in the panoramic beauty,

You hear the waves crashing against the rocks below,

You feel the gentle ocean breeze on your skin,

And smell the salt in the air,

As you sit serenely,

You observe a flock of seagulls gracefully ascending and gliding through the air,

Marveling at their airborne proudness,

After a few moments of observation,

You draw your attention to the activity down on the sandy beach,

You quietly watch the myriad of people,

Some walking barefoot on the beach,

While others are sitting peacefully on a blanket,

Talking,

Laughing,

Reading a book,

You also notice dogs playfully running along the shore,

And surfers peacefully bobbing up and down on their boards,

Awaiting the perfect wave on the horizon,

You feel completely content and at ease,

As you sit calmly watching all of the activity,

As you witness the sun's graceful descent in the sky,

Your breath begins to synchronize over the rhythmic ebb and flow of the ocean waves below,

You feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest mirroring the natural cadence of the sea,

In this serene moment,

Any knots of tension begin to unravel,

And your mind,

Like a clear and calm pool,

Reflects the beauty of the scene,

You sit calmly in a tranquil state,

Noticing the transition of life before you and within yourself,

As the sun gracefully sinks beneath the horizon,

Your soul descends into the beautiful kaleidoscope of inner essence,

Vivid colors of every hue radiate through your entire being,

Sending ripples of prana,

Life energy outward,

You sense the interconnection between the deep inner peace,

The timeless rhythm of the ocean,

And the vastness of the universe,

Your intuitive awareness cultivates a harmonious convergence that resonates within you,

In this quietude,

A profound peace echoes through your body,

Mind,

And soul,

In this realm of inner serenity,

Envision your palms open in a gesture of giving,

And offer your sankalpa up to your heart,

With reverence,

Receive this offering of deepest knowing,

Silently repeating it three times with your inner essence,

With each repetition,

Let it permeate more deeply,

Embodying a sense of complete wholeness and profound peace,

Anchored in the deepest layers of tranquility,

Witness the entirety of your being,

Immersed in a sanctuary of reverent peace,

The whole body spacious and alive,

Now bring your awareness back to your breath for a few moments,

And simply notice the ease in which it moves to and fro,

Begin to become aware of the sounds around you,

And your body at rest on the surface below,

As you start to awaken,

Allow intuitive movement to unfold in your body,

This might include wiggling your fingers and toes,

Gently rocking your head side to side,

Stretching your arms lovingly overhead,

And slowly rolling over to your right side,

Take a few more rounds of breath here,

And then very slowly move your body into an upright seated position,

As you bring this meditation to a close,

Take a few deep breaths,

Directing your focus to your heart center,

As you dwell in this sanctuary of your highest self,

I invite you to invoke the mantra of peace,

Whether spoken aloud or whispered silently,

Repeat the mantra,

Om Shanti Shanti Shanti,

An invocation for universal peace,

With each repetition,

Extend your wish for peace,

Feeling its residence grow within and emanate outward,

Inhale deeply one last time,

And as you exhale,

Gently open your eyes and return to the present moment,

Carry this tranquil energy with you as you navigate through your day,

Recognizing the inherent power you possess to nurture peace within yourself,

Know that this inner peace has the potential to create a ripple effect,

Allowing you to share it with the world around you,
