Good morning,
And thank you for being here to begin your day with meditation.
The way you spend these first few moments can set the tone for everything that follows.
Taking just a few minutes now to quiet your mind,
Steady your breath,
And set a positive intention can help cultivate a sense of balance and resilience to carry you through whatever challenges arise.
Today,
I invite you to embrace a mindset of openness and presence.
Give yourself permission to be fully here for these next few nourishing minutes.
Let your body settle into a comfortable position,
And gently shift your awareness to your breath.
As you breathe in and out,
Notice any lingering tension in your body,
And with each exhale,
Imagine that tension melting away.
Feel your entire body soften,
Creating space for the unfolding possibilities of your day.
Continue with simple,
Rhythmic breathing at your own pace for several rounds.
Just as the sun rises with ease every day,
Allow your breath to gently rise from the depths of your belly,
Expanding and spreading its rays like sunshine up through your solar plexus,
Chest,
Throat,
The point between your eyebrows,
And the crown of your head,
Radiating warmth and light throughout your entire body.
As you exhale,
Imagine releasing any tension,
Letting it melt away with the breath.
Feel the warmth and light you've cultivated flow outward,
Relaxing each part of your body,
From the crown of your head,
Down through your face,
Chest,
Belly,
And all the way to your toes.
Let each exhale ground you,
Leaving you calm,
Clear,
And at ease,
Lingering in the space of stillness.
I invite you to say these affirmations silently or out loud.
Remember,
Where your mind goes,
Energy flows,
So act as if they're already happening.
I approach today with gratitude.
I choose to be present and mindful in my activities and interactions with others.
I find joy in the simple things.
I am open to new possibilities.
I act with kindness and compassion.
I am focused and productive.
I trust that everything is unfolding as it should.
I am grounded and calm.
I choose to see good in others.
I honor my needs and boundaries.
Now take a moment to let these affirmations settle within you.
Notice if one resonates deeply,
And consider carrying it with you as a guiding intention throughout your day.
Breathe in a gentle,
Cleansing breath through the nose,
And sigh it out.
Feel the calmness settle into your body and mind,
Knowing you can return to this meditation anytime as a gentle reminder that your well-being matters.
Slowly flutter your eyes open,
And step into your day with peace and purpose.
If you enjoyed this meditation,
I'd love for you to return to this practice whenever it feels right for you.
And if you'd like to share any thoughts or experiences,
I'd be grateful to hear them.
Wishing you peace and ease until next time.
This is Elisa.
