A fresh start can begin with your very next breath. Together, we'll explore the powerful idea of treating each moment as a clean slate, letting go of what happened a minute ago, an hour ago, or even yesterday, and turning toward what is possible now. If you're having a hard day, feeling discouraged, or simply need a little encouragement, this short inspirational video offers a compassionate reminder that starting over is not failure—it's part of being human. New moment. New choice. New beginning.

Hey there,
I'm Nikki.
Today I want to talk about new beginnings and fresh starts.
When I thought about this concept,
It took me back to.
.
.
Nature.
And really all living things.
Have new beginnings,
Because.
.
.
We all go through moments of hardship.
And stress.
And crisis and anxiety and uncertainty.
That's just life.
And we also go through beautiful,
Wonderful,
Easy,
Joyful moments.
And so I wanted to share with you.
A quick backstory of how I learned about this concept and applied it to my everyday life.
And to my recovery.
When I was in a treatment program a few years ago in Seattle.
I was getting treatment fatigue.
I'd been there a long time.
And so I had an opportunity when we had a meal.
To talk to a therapist that was at our table.
And she had been in the program for the longest.
And so I was like,
Boy,
I want to ask her something.
And so what came to mind for me was asking her,
What advice do you give to people when they feel extremely tired.
Burned out.
Fatigue.
With something that's going on in their life.
And feeling like they can't go on.
And she said something beautiful.
She said.
If you can treat each day as a new start.
A new beginning.
A clean slate.
And a fresh start.
That's how you can overcome the fatigue.
And so I started applying it right away.
And just to give you an idea.
I wrote out something that I wanted to share with you.
So if you think about if you're in a moment of crisis,
And yesterday was hard,
Guess what?
You can wipe that out.
Brand new clean slate.
And it doesn't have to apply to just days.
It can actually apply.
To moments as well.
This moment is hard.
It doesn't mean that.
The whole rest of the day has to go downhill because guess what?
You can wipe it out and keep moving on.
And so I'd like to invite you to think about.
If you're in a difficult situation in your life,
Something that you're really struggling with or having resistance.
To remember this concept.
Each day is a fresh start.
A new beginning.
A clean slate.
To try again.
It served me very well.
And I hope it does for you as well.
