In this meditation we explore the concept of Self energy. The concept of Self energy comes from a therapeutic modality known as IFS or Internal Family Systems. The Self is characterized by qualities such as compassion, calmness, curiosity, clarity, confidence, courage, competence, and connectedness. Self is the most authentic and centered part of you. The goal of IFS therapy is to reconnect with your true nature of Self-energy, a compassionate, non-judgmental presence that interacts with different parts of you, the parts that manage your daily life, the parts that put out the fires of strong emotions, the exiled parts that feel wounded and lost and unwanted.
