Greetings and welcome.

This is a walking meditation meant to be listened to while you move inside your home,

Down a hallway,

Or outside in the fresh air.

There's no destination here,

Just presence,

Just breath,

Just steps.

Let's begin.

As you begin walking,

Take a moment to notice your pace.

No need to change anything,

Just become aware.

Feel your feet as they touch the ground.

Right foot,

Left foot,

Heel to toe.

Let each step remind you,

I am here.

I am moving.

I am present.

Now,

Bring your attention to your breath.

You don't have to match it to your steps.

Just notice that it's here with you.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Feel the air move in and out of your body as you walk.

As you move,

Take in your surroundings.

What do you see?

Notice shapes,

Colors,

Shadows,

And light.

Try not to label,

Just observe.

What do you hear?

Birds?

Distant traffic?

The sound of your footsteps?

Let the sounds rise and fall around you.

What do you feel on your skin?

Sunlight?

Wind?

Cool air?

Let your senses ground you in this moment.

If your thoughts start to wander,

That's okay.

Gently return to your feet.

Back to the rhythm of your steps.

Back to the feeling of support beneath you.

Right foot,

Left foot,

Here,

Now.

You are not walking away from anything.

You are walking toward yourself,

Toward calm,

Toward clarity.

Let each step be a reminder that you are moving through life with awareness.

Not rushing,

Not forcing,

Just being.

Breath by breath,

Step by step.

If anything arises,

Thoughts,

Feelings,

Distractions,

You don't have to push them away.

Acknowledge them and gently return to your body,

To your breath,

To the next step.

Let's take one last minute to walk together in silence now.

Let your steps and your breath carry you.

Now,

Slowly begin to wind down your walk.

Notice how your body feels.

Notice what has shifted,

If anything.

You are grounded.

You are aware.

And you can return to this moving meditation anytime you need to come back to yourself.

Thank you for walking with me today.

Take care.
