Greetings and welcome.

In this meditation,

We will go deeper into separating from negative thoughts,

Allowing them to settle and discovering the stillness that exits beneath them.

With curiosity and kindness,

You will be guided to observe your thoughts without becoming them.

Let's begin.

Find a comfortable position and gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in and a full,

Steady exhale out.

With each breath,

Feel your body becoming more supported,

More at ease.

Allow your shoulders to drop,

Your jaw to soften,

And your hands to rest easily.

Simply,

Be here,

Present in this moment.

Now,

Bring your attention to your thoughts.

Without trying to change them,

Simply notice what is present.

If a negative thought arises,

Imagine holding it lightly in the palm of your hand as if it were a small stone or feather.

Examine with curiosity,

What shape does this take?

What weight does it hold?

As you observe,

Remind yourself,

This thought is not me,

I am the observer.

Now,

Picture yourself setting the thought down beside you.

It is still there,

But it no longer defines you.

Now,

Breathe in a sense of spaciousness,

Feeling yourself expanding without the thought.

If another thought appears,

Repeat the process.

Observe,

Name it,

And gently set it aside.

With each breath,

You are reclaiming your space,

Your clarity,

Your presence.

Now,

Bring your attention to the quiet space inside you,

The part untouched by negative thoughts.

Now,

Place a gentle hand on your heart,

Feeling the warmth beneath your palm.

Silently,

Offer yourself kindness.

I am more than my thoughts.

I am strong,

Whole,

And at peace.

Breathe into this truth,

Allowing stillness to expand within you.

Take one last deep,

Nourishing breath in,

And exhale with ease.

Slowly,

Bring awareness back to your surroundings,

Wiggling your fingers and toes.

When you're ready,

Softly open your eyes.

Carry this sense of stillness with you,

Knowing that you can always return to this place of peace within.
