Hi,
My name is Dieke and welcome to the Femme Embodiment Quest.
This is day number two and the word,
The theme is Reset.
Basically,
It's about resetting back into your feminine essence,
Coming back home to yourself and making that shift,
That transition where maybe during the day we tend to act and live a lot from our head,
Doing thinking,
Trying to be smart,
Analytical,
Organized,
Logical,
You name it,
To then resetting,
Coming back to that part of you that feels most true,
That feels most like home,
That feels most like you can relax and reset and fully be yourself.
That's your feminine side and one of the easiest ways to reset yourself during your day is through the practice of shaking.
And so today's embodiment practice will use a lot of elements in which we are shaking and moving the body.
For that,
I'm going to invite you to come to standing.
So we're actually going to start standing up.
Again,
One bell marks the start,
Three bells marks the end.
So for now,
You can come to stand up.
I'll join you in a moment.
You can place your hands in front of your chest in a namaste,
Close down your eyes and take a moment to connect to that theme of reset.
Okay,
Slowly you can open your eyes,
Open your hands on either side of your body.
You can place your feet about hip distance apart.
And just starting off here with making sure your knees are relaxed,
Your shoulders are relaxed,
So you can play a little bit,
Moving weight one side to the other.
And you're already noticing when you do that,
You automatically start to bounce and shake a little.
And you can shake out your hands just like we did also yesterday.
You can shrug your shoulders,
Lifting up one and the other.
I'm just exploring and playing a little bit with movement.
You can shake out one leg to the side in the air,
The other one,
Trying to find and play with your balance a bit.
You can shake out one arm fully,
Shake out the other arm.
Amazing.
So we got the concept,
The principle of shaking.
Now we're going to use actually three different components,
Which is the breath,
Which is the movement,
And which is also the movement of sound.
These are the three tantric keys,
Or the three feminine keys,
Which help you very easily,
Very quickly get out of your head and into your body.
So placing your feet about hip distance apart,
Again,
Relaxing those knees,
Relaxing those shoulders,
So your body is soft.
And if you like,
You can close your eyes,
Because in the end this is a practice to really come home,
To come inwards,
To come back to yourself.
And then you're going to start off by taking a deep inhale,
Filling up your lungs.
And on the exhale,
Sigh it out.
So relaxed jaw.
Another deep breath in.
On that next exhale,
You sigh out and you let it sort of reverberate through your entire body,
Creating a little bit of a balance,
A shake.
And now the third element to make the shaking even more powerful,
To make the reset even more efficient,
Is the element of sound.
So deep breath in.
On the exhale,
You sigh it out,
Let that balance happen,
And just naturally let a sound come out.
And this can feel quite unnatural,
Unusual,
Might feel like,
Oh,
That's difficult to even make a sound.
That's totally normal.
Something that we've been very deconditioned to do,
Or very conditioned not to do,
Is to just let out a sound to relax your jaw.
But it's a really powerful element.
Again,
Deep breath in.
Exhale,
Sigh it out,
Let that balance happen,
Maybe even some sound.
And again,
Deep breath in.
Beautiful.
So you get the principle,
The basics of the shaking.
Now from here,
We're going to let it be a continuous shaking practice.
For that,
I would like you to,
Again,
Anchor your feet down.
We're going to keep the feet actually anchored down as if they're roots rooting down into the earth,
And the rest of the body can shake and move.
Make sound,
And using the breath.
And we're going to do that for a few minutes continuously.
And then from there,
I'm going to invite you to come into stillness.
Just standing in stillness,
And allowing yourself to become a witness of that resetting that's happening through the shaking.
Okay,
Let's begin.
Deep breath in.
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Let the shaking begin,
And a little sound.
And from here,
Even on the in-breath,
You gently keep your body moving,
Shaking.
You can shake out the hips or the arms.
You can shake fast,
Or maybe it's a little bit slower.
You can shake your head,
But don't necessarily have to if it doesn't feel right.
But just allow your body to shake.
So yeah,
Then your jaw relax.
Your body is soft.
You can even imagine that the shaking is there to shake off anything that's not serving,
Anything that's not truly yours,
Any stress that you picked up,
Any thoughts.
So keep using your breath.
Keep using sound,
And keep using movement.
You can move your arms up or down,
Just exploring shaking in different ways.
And then 30 more seconds here.
Give yourself a good shimmy,
A good shake.
Shake off everything that's not serving,
That was keeping you in overdrive,
In overwhelm,
In going and doing.
And then letting the movements,
The shakes,
The waves,
Just gently ripple out,
Just like you would see a ripple do if you drop a stone in the water.
Letting the movements become smaller,
Softer.
And then coming into full stillness,
Just allowing yourself to become a witness of your body,
Your mind,
Your emotions.
And then from here,
Gently wiggle your fingertips,
Wrapping your arms around you,
Just holding yourself here for a moment.
And through that gesture,
As if you're welcoming yourself back home,
Back into your body,
Reset it back into your feminine essence.
And these three bells mark the end of this embodiment practice.
You can place your hands in front of your chest,
Or your third eye,
Thanking yourself for showing up.
Thank you.
