Soothing Tides is a sensory meditation created from the heart - to help you relax, release tension, slow what’s racing, and return to the quiet rhythm of your own breath. Inspired by the gentle pull of the ocean, it invites you to drift inward - into sensation, into stillness, into yourself. Let the waves meet you exactly where you are, with no pressure to change or fix - only to feel. This is the second version of my very first meditation. I hope it brings you a sense of calm. I’d love to hear your experience—please leave a comment with your reflections. Thank you for taking the time for yourself. With love, Daria

Welcome to this guided meditation for relaxation.

I am so glad you've chosen to take this time for yourself.

Today,

We will focus on calming the mind,

Relaxing the body and turning into the sensations with them.

Whether you're looking to release stress,

Ease tension or simply reconnect with yourself,

This practice is for you.

Find a comfortable space where you can fully relax,

Avoid any distractions and when you're ready,

Gently close your eyes,

Take a deep breath and let's begin.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in and as you exhale,

Allow yourself to soften,

To settle.

This moment you're taking is an act of self-care,

A precious gift to yourself.

With every inhale,

Invite renewal and with every exhale,

Release any heaviness,

Any tension.

Allow your breath to match the rhythm of the ocean tides,

Rolling in,

Flowing out.

Feel yourself floating with the soothing tides,

Weightless,

Calm and deeply supported.

The air around you is cool and refreshing,

Touching your skin gently.

Now,

Bring your awareness to your feet,

Feel the sensations there,

Resting,

Floating,

Just as the waves touch the shore.

Feel energy moving gently through your ankles and your calves.

With each inhale,

Feel the rise of energy,

With each exhale,

Feel the waves drawing away any tension.

Relax your knees and thighs,

Allow any discomfort to be carried away,

Leaving you lighter,

Softer,

Free.

Move your awareness to your hips,

Your lower back.

With every breath,

Feel the gentle pull of the tides,

Lifting and releasing your body.

Let your belly expand and contract naturally,

Like the tides themselves.

Feel your chest rise and fall,

Steady,

Like the flow of the ocean.

Now,

Bring attention to your arms,

Hands and fingers,

Imagine the gentle caress of water moving over your skin.

Let any tension flow away,

Like the tides returning to the sea.

Move up to your neck and shoulders,

Let the soothing tides wash over you,

Release the weight you've been carrying.

Soften your jaw,

Relax your eyelids,

Smooth your forehead.

Feel the coolness of the air,

The tenderness of the tides,

Bathing you in peace.

Your body is light,

Your mind is calm,

You are deeply at peace.

Just imagine yourself surrounded by gentle ocean tides,

Where every sensation is carried softened and released.

Allow yourself to float,

Fully supported,

Fully held by the soothing waters.

Each breath brings you more peace,

More healing.

Stay in this space a little longer,

Floating,

Breathing and being.

When you're ready,

Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the present.

Feel your body calmer,

More relaxed and more at ease.

Take a breath.

Gently open your eyes when you're ready,

Stretch your body if it feels good.

Carry this gong with you through the rest of your day or night.

And thank you for taking this time for yourself today.
