Hi,

I'm Danny.

I want to say thanks for being here.

Whether this is your first time meditating or you've tried it before and drifted away,

This series is designed to meet you right where you are.

It's called Stillness in the Storm because life can be noisy.

We carry pressure,

Responsibilities,

Thoughts,

Tension,

And often we don't get the chance to pause.

This space is about creating that pause.

You don't need to sit in a special way or breathe in a certain style or get it right.

This isn't about performance,

It's about presence.

So what will we be doing in these sessions?

Each practice is around 10 minutes.

It starts with a few words from me,

Setting the tone,

Then we move into breath awareness,

Just paying attention to how the breath moves without forcing it.

Body scanning,

Slowly moving your attention through different parts of the body to help you relax and ground.

Simple phrases or reflections,

Things like I am enough or just breathe to anchor your awareness and importantly pauses,

Moments of silence or stillness where you can just rest.

There's no goal other than to show up.

You don't need to clear your mind.

Thoughts will come,

That's normal.

The practice is noticing them,

Then gently coming back to the breath or the body.

Over time,

This kind of practice builds clarity,

Emotional strength and calm,

Not just in these 10 minutes but out in your daily life.

So take what you need from it.

Some days you will feel deep and peaceful,

Other days might feel messy or noisy,

Distracted.

It's all part of it.

Thank you again for choosing to do this,

For being present with yourself.

I'm here,

Right beside you.
